So simple, yet so sophisticated. Tuberose is absolutely beautiful. It gives you this wonderfully elegant vibe without fail.

This is gorgeous and a very indulgent, luxurious jasmine scent. It lasts for solid 8 hours on me. My most complimented fragrance by far.

I heard people say Gucci Bloom Ambrosia was better than the original Gucci Bloom so I bought it to try, and I feel... well, there's not much of a difference. Gucci Ambrosia has a warmer sweetness, more depth, and less soapy scent because of the addition of Rose notes. But that's all the difference. In general, it is not too different, people who are not observant enough will not be able to recognize it. Longevity and projection cannot be improved compared to Gucci Bloom OG, still poor. If Gucci remade Gucci Bloom line and improved its longevity, it would certainly be much more successful.

candieskulls

I liked it when I sprayed it on a test strip. But on my skin? A WHOLE other story. It became oddly green and spicy. It honestly reminded me of...tomatoes. I had to check the notes online to make sure I wasn't crazy. Nope, all notes I generally enjoy. Hard pass for me, sadly.

BeauParfum

I’m a guy and I’m in love with this perfume, any one thinks a guy can wear it? Could it be unisex?

Monke go brr

Definitely more seductive and provoking fragrance compared to the Yellow Bloom by Gucci. The red color perfectly matches the character of the fragrance. It's more feminine, seductive, dark mysterious, however it's a bit mature as well.

Interesting fragrance, but not as unique as the yellow one. It has some generic feminine notes that are present in lot of fragrances. Still good if you are going for seductive dark/mysterious mature vibe.

Kinda imagine absynth bar with old polished wood and lady dressed in black with red elements is wearing this. But it is not too dark, it also has that generic female perfume vibe going on (maybe 25%).

Ambrosia was my birthday gift back in June and I used to think it was perfect for summertime – well, I love it even more now that it is fall! This is somehow smoother than Profumo, tuberose, rangoon creeper and jasmine create a majestic nectar that is both sultry and decadent, transparent and voluptuous. The performance in November is excellent, in hot weather it was a bit too volatile. Ambrosia is not the kind of perfume that goes unnoticed as it is a heavy floral with a trail that lasts for hours. Love, love, love!

Katelynl88

You know , I’m not sure what it is about this particular one that I like . Typically I hate white florals and jasmine but something about this one I really like . It’s dark in my opinion, a nighttime perfume , maybe just a night time more sexy version of the og bloom. . Idk but Im just now realizing I actually like this , or maybe my tastes have just changed that much ,

Cycys

Ambriosa is a clean strong (not cloying) bouquet of white flowers. It is a safe one if you are into florals and looking for a signature scent.

However on my skin this one does not last 3 hours max and abracadbra am left with nothing 🥲
But if you are a fan of l'interdit you will like this one

dglightblue

Skin test.
So I gotta say this line, they're all so similar...
Ambrosia isn't what I'd call rosey at all.

This is another creamy sorta thin white floral.
This has a coldness to it, the yellow one has a green ish tint, the edt has citrus but on me goes flat.

Rounded, watery white floral, clean

HannahRosesAreRed

The Bloom line has been, without fail, very sweet—each flanker being an episode of a warm, feel-good comedy series, with a different set of memorable guest stars each time. Tuberose is the star of the show, with jasmine as the quirky deuteragonist that everyone loves. However, tuning in this time, Tuberose has a formidable co-star—Orris root. The rose is a subtle support player with a few memorable one-liners, and honeysuckle is the plucky, cheerful comic relief, but it’s the orris that steals the show.

Ambrosia Di Fiori is a subtler, more sophisticated, powdery affair than the rest of the Bloom line. It’s also the least sweet, at least on my skin. The rose adds a bit of aromatic flair. The tuberose is more understated here, less bubblegum and sexy and more subtle and mild, adding softness. The drydown is semi-sweet and powdery, though not quite cosmetic powdery—more root-like and earthy. I’d compare it to Chloè but without the fresh or sweet accords.

It performs decently well, lasting on my skin for about three or four hours before fading. If you like the idea of a less overtly sweet white floral with a mature and earthy edge, I say Ambrosia Di Fiori is worth a shot.

WhiteFlowerPrincess

This flanker of Gucci Bloom is so much better and more realistic smelling than the original perfume from this line... the original Gucci Bloom smelt so synthetic and sickly sweet to me but Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori smells like a lush bouquet of white flowers!

If you like honeysuckle and tuberose, you will LOVE THIS!!! It as all about these two white florals in this fragrance and all of the other notes in this just buoy the smell of these two flowers up and enhances them. I next get a good dose of jasmine, but it never overpowers anything else in this perfume and I find this really well balanced.

I also think that the addition of orris root in the base was a BRILLIANT idea and it added some depth to this perfume without drowning out the florals with woody notes. I get a tiny hint of a very romantic and lush pink rose too, but it is only just a hint.

This fragrance also had a moderate sillage on me and was not too strong or too light a sillage and it lasted just over 7 hours on my skin. I thought that it was a lovely and feminine fragrance and I could imagine wearing this either day or night during the spring or the fall to really enhance those floral notes.

I give this fragrance altogether an 8.5/10. It is worth spending money on a full bottle of this and I think that it is the only Gucci Bloom you will ever need!

Nice

LauraFrançoise

Absolute love, my go to clean feminine but not to green fragrance. The tuberose is perfectly balanced with the jasmine. I even get a hint of something gourmand when it sits a bit longer on the skin. I think that might be the orris root on my skin chemistry. 9,5/10 would repurchase.

kittenpawz

I apologize to everyone who genuinely loves this perfume but to me it smelled like chicken or instant noodles seasoning upon initial spray. Like knorr or maggi or stuff like that. I put it down right away but it was very amusing. I checked on the dry down some minutes later - generic green slash floral scent, very uninspired. The last chance I gave Gucci after the mess they call Gorgeous Gardenia. I just don't smell any sweetness in any of their perfumes at all, as if they take a firm stand against sweet perfumes. A world famous brand trying to appear niche would predictably end up with something... Like this. Oh well. Farewell Gucci!

gandrasta

On my nose, this Bloom variant smells brighter, juicier, and more luxurious. It is an alluring blend of tuberose, honeysuckle, and powdery iris notes. Smells very modern and poise, yet has commendable longevity

Eriksen

Just got this, and it smells so familiar. Then it hit me, is resembles Estee Lauder Modern Muse. At least to my memory 😅 Better though.

Celestial Bleü66

This is a treasure find for me.
I remember that first commercial for Gucci Bloom ambrosia.
They built it up with advertising a few months before it hitting the shelves.
They did it sneakily. First the occasional billboard type with no text Just beautiful bohemian style setting with flowers and vines trendling down. In what appears to be Eutopia or Eden. While a natural spring water pool/pond have exotic blooms floating asa few lucky lovely ladies get to bathe in what is the most intoxicating floral bath one could imagine. Then, it just says BLOOM. It was only here and there at first But then the adverts subliminally hit television usually evening. Magazines, of course advertising posters. Increased gradually. All I know is I had my alarm set for the day it came out and the time. Believe it or not. The only store that carried it was Macy's. The Gucci store didn't even have it. Nor the website. There were no samples available. I got .y bottle. It's worth every single penny. It doesn't have just Honeysuckle. It has Rangoon Creeper. (In the same family) Where generic Honeysuckle smells like a straightforward white flower. Rangoon smells like white flower, creamy jasmine, and a slight maraschino undertone way down deep. It's also made with Orris butter. That gives it a briocche sweet bread, sweet cream scent.
Yes you get Tuberose A nice floral, creamy and smooth tuberose. (Nothing heavy, animalistic sk*nky-type) Jasmine is a fresh green, and wet jasmine. The Quality, Silage, projection and longevity are phenomenal. Especially for a designer fragrance. This could compete with a nìche house easily. If could compare it to any other perfume. It would be very very close to Amouage Love, Tuberose. If you have one you don't need the other.
IMHO, the selection pyramid is not accurate I think because many people may be familiar with essential oils and not the actual flower. Also, Maybe they are not familiar with the Rangoon Creeper scent and it's notes Or the difference between Orris and Orris butter. I think it would change the pyramid a bit. Because the Creeper and tuberose are evenly matched. But the creeper is most noticeable of all the flowers Especially at first. The orris stands out very well. I think it's overlooked because it's Orris butter from living Orris. Which gives the perfume a sweet, cream delectable note. Unlike "garden-variety"
orris. Which is powdery scent most people are familiar with. This is definitely one of my very favourite perfumes.

juwlie

Echoing what a lot of others have said, this fragrance just doesn't have anything special going on for me. Maybe it's good for layering, but honestly it's very strong, so I can't imagine layering it with anything else. It isn't necessarily unpleasant, it's just nothing special imo. It's a very heavy white floral, which I do normally like, but this one just feels like too much and too little at the same time for me.

Liva1273

Love this perfume. Smells like a big bouquet of dark red roses. It’s very warm and intense but I think it’s a little overpriced. It lasts long and you can smell it far away. It was definitely love at first smell<3

River.c

It's uh... Powdery, watery and mostly a dance between honey suckle and tuberose. Dries down sweet and creamy, but not too much that it comes off like a child's candy-scented cologne... The jasmine isn't as straightforward as that of the original Gucci Bloom, but still a very pretty scent. A sunny floral fragrance, but ironically might not be able to withstand the heat from sunny weather. The whole bloom line is pretty light, but the staying power of this one is pretty weak. Also, if you don't like the combination of flowers with cream, this might not be for you. If you want a slightly more mature watery floral scent, this is definitely not it.

stephm42120

I love the Bloom line. My mom gave me Gucci Bloom Gocce Di Fiori and that was my introduction to Bloom. Then came this decant of Ambrosia. I love using it for bedtime; this scent is so delicate and pretty. I want a big size of this but I imagine the longevity isn’t the best.

snehir22

I really like this perfume, the tuberose and the honeysuckle is really overpowering so it gets a little boring after a few hours. The longevity isn't great, the scent seems to dissappear after 3-4 hours and needs reapplying, however it is a nice and pleasant smell for everyday use.
Edit: I tried layering it with Acqua di Colonia by Santa Maria Novella, and surprisingly the smell of this perfume stood out as more creamy and sweet! Love it.

frag_nostalgia

This is essentially the sweetest, most rosy, and powdery out of all the Bloom flankers. I feel it's the flanker best suited for the winter season because of its honeyed sweetness, creaminess, and the warm, cozy musk. This selection is my N°1 out of all the Bloom flankers. I love the elegant undercurrent of powdery-sweet may and damask roses with a touch of buttery orris. All rather unique qualities for a modern tuberose-centric frag.🥇

becominglocal

This gives honeysuckle and only honeysuckle on me, which I absolutely love. It feels very southern belle, hot sticky summer night to me. Its very strong but doesn't last super long on my skin, around 2 hours. I do get a ton of complements on it!

Kuty22

I like it
But the tuberose is quite green and the rose 🌹 really tamed. I enjoy this one and love the original

Atomikbomb_

Gucci is absolutely KILLING it with these releases. Morillas is a damn genius.

Although I *think* I prefer Profumo Di Fiori slightly, I adore this as well and I'm thankful to get to try it on! Longevity&sillage are good.

Profumo is like...a languid, sticky tuberose affair on an early September evening. It's golden, naturalistic, hazey, and a little narcotic.

Ambrosia however, is a gorgeously romantic, chilly evening spent indoors with your paramour on the end of winter and edge of spring. It's velvety loveseats, fresh bedding, open windows to the brisk night air, and wafts of manicured gardens.

I easily detect as much jasmine tuberose, but not nearly as much honeysuckle. This one smells a little more like the original Bloom than Profumo does. The florals are everything, and they're beautiful, but not too *prettied up*, you know? It actually makes me feel some type of way...it's truly lovely.

Just...lovely. 🥺

HeatherMuffin

This is a phenomenal fragrance that I had a tango with at first. I sprayed in store, fell in love, bought it , but when I got it home and sprayed it amd went in for work, my first impression was that I couldn’t pick out any single note from the incredibly well blended floral composition. So creamy, tiny dusty heavy floral. Beautiful but so blended that in the first week I couldn’t imagine wearing this and not really being able to smell the notes in it. It was like i was in the scent cloud and couldn’t smell it from inside. And something felt stuffy to me that week. It bothered me that there wasn’t a stand out scent so I impulsively gave the bottle to my coworker when she complimented the scent. When she started showing up to work wearing it I was like what is that gorgeous smell on you?? … it was the bottle of ambrosia I gave her 😂🤷♀️💀so I found a small one on super sale and picked it back up again. If you’re in to floral like me, this is the perfect date night cozy winter feeling floral that almost feels like a vanilla amber but isn’t at all, and has nothing masculine about it. I needed to just use correctly to appreciate! And I learned not to layer this one… Anyway 10/10 for me.

BeauParfum

There is a hint of tobacco with the rose which makes this perfume a unisex smell in my opinion. Any one shares my opinion that a man can reach out to this flanker?

ambervxyjul

The original bloom is the best in my opinion. This one has too much rose making it way more outdated. I once accidentally bought this one meaning to buy the original bloom and when I sprayed it, I couldn’t stand it! So although this is a flanker, I don’t see much similarities. Smells too mature!

Siv7Stars

White florals with creamy natural smelling tuberose (eg. as opposed to So Scandal which is nice in it's own way but just not as actual bouquet floral but artificially sweetened) pretty simple but quite heady.. one to use with a light hand. The rose is not really detectable, as others have said. I'm not mad keen on this kind of thing but it's a decent enough white floral.

Jajally

Smell almost exactly like the OG but..fresher? It’s not a blast of only jasmine, I can smell honeysuckle in it and it’s so delightful. This is OG with more dept, definitely creamier. To compare I feel like the OG’s middle notes is a light sweet floral scent but in this intense one with the oris it becomes more mature and a bit powdery.
The projection and sillage is better than the OG but honestly I love them all

violeteme

Short: Creamy, slightly green and dewy white floral, similar to the original Bloom, but bolder and more mature. There is quite a big projection and longevity is great.

Long: A clearly tuberose dominated perfume with some influence from the jasmine and some other delicately sweet florals (rangoon creeper? - I am not familiar with it). It smells creamy, but not dense (Love Tuberose, Cocaine, Orchid Soleil are sweeter and thicker in comparison), it's softly dewy and slightly fresh too. Doesn't seem like the nightbloom florals, there are no indoles, rotten qualities, anything grape-y, no vegetal, tropical humidity or sweetness, no strong animalic sides, the only thing I notice is a bit gasoline-like and rubber undertone. Some greenery from young flower buds too. It's quite bold and statement like, but not full on that. No strong golden vintage opulence about it as well.
In comparison to the original Bloom - Ambrosia di Fiori is a more mature tuberose, whereas Bloom is softer, brighter, more youthful and jasmine dominated (clean, sterile, morning type of jasmines). That same jasmine note doesn't leave Ambrosia di Fiori composition throughout, giving it a weird, sharp and synthetic mutter. Not similar to My Way (that one is sweeter and there are string grape-like tones), slightly similar to Do Son EDT, EDP and current formulation of Fracas (though Fracas is noticeable on orange blossom and fruity tones too and I'd say it is slightly softer perfume as well).
As I am not a huge fan of lush, strong tuberoses, this is too bold for me.

batalha

Like a lot. Remember me Burberry London for women, that was a excelent perfum

tovasignature

Testing this side by side with OG Armani My Way and to my nose identical! I like them both, but not a love.

AquaBaby5

Sadly this is giving me a headache. One of the rare ones. It’s quite nice and sharper than I usually like my white florals (I like them very very creamy) but great for spring summer seasons.

Edit: I think the honeysuckle is to blame.

wondervalley666

I wasn't into the OG Bloom, but ordered a couple minis of different flankers to see if they may have the tuberose I desire. I ordered this one and the Profumo flankers. I immediately liked, and on subsequent wears, bought a full bottle and backup of Profumo, as it performed way better and smelled more pleasing to me, and was the only one I could distinctly smell real tuberose in. I liked this Ambrosia flanker as well, and ordered a FB, but after a few wears decided this one isn't for me. I mostly get a sharp jasmine, honeysuckle, and rose blend here, which comes off as very soapy, a bit mature, and a bit harsh like bug spray in the opening, and dries down to a barely-there skin scent that disappears way too fast for me. To continue being able to smell this scent, I need to reapply every hour. I felt the performance was the same in the original Bloom as well. Profumo will last 3-6 hrs on me, depending on weather, and will linger in my hair or on my clothes overnight til the next morning. I don't get noticeable tuberose in Ambrosia at all, at least not the type of tuberose you'd expect from Carnal Flower or any of those similar smelling tuberose. If there is tuberose here, it's that overly sweet neutered one like in My Way that unfortunately seems too synthetic and different from the quality tuberose I love for my preference. This flanker may work beautifully with other peoples chemistry, but for me, I prefer the yellow Profumo flanker, as that one smells the best IMO, has hints of real tuberose smell, and gets me the most compliments.

bloodyheartofparadise

i'm no expert on white floral fragrances as they're not really my thing but i got a sample of this with something i ordered and i was very impressed. super heavy creamy slightly sweet white floral with some delicate green notes but i don't detect any rose. this is also one of very very few fragrances i could still smell on my skin the following day as usually my skin just eats even powerhouse fragrances up.

Arwaiq

My favorite perfume for this summer 😍

sarahtheperfumelover

This is a beautiful fragrance. The florals are so realistic that they almost make me melancholy, like a beautiful, hot, lonely summer afternoon with nothing to do.
I love Ambrosia and Profumo equally. Ambrosia is sweeter and the tuberose is potent whereas Profumo feels greener to me. Both gorgeous, just depends on my mood. The bottles are also so gorgeous! Ambrosia isn’t a gourmand kind of sexy, but its smooth and creamy florals are so beautiful that it has an undeniable sensuality all its own. In the deep dry down the Ambrosia is reminiscent of a luxurious lotion or soap-not in a super clean or aquatic way though. It just blends so beautifully with the skin. Even when I’m not in the mood for this I can still appreciate what a gem this is.

Tinabill

Super-floral floral!
I think GBAdF is the only perfume I have that has 100% floral notes in its top, heart and base. But it is predominantly a tuberose scent and a glorious one!
It greets you with a fresh, clean, non-indolic jasmine but soon the lush tuberose reigns! It overthrows other floral notes to be honest. I cannot sense the rose or orris except in the very late dry down. The tuberose here is more creamy than in the original GB, a tad sweeter and has a less (but still has) green facet, so I probably didn’t need them both simultaneously as the differences are subtle, but I am obsessed with white florals.
I’ll forever be grateful for the house of Gucci for modernizing tuberose and bringing it back en vogue 💕💕💕 enamored!

asg6

I never thought I’d like this as much as I do! I’m seldom a floral lover, and this one doesn’t hold back. The projection on this is impressive, very bold jasmine opening, damask rose tones come through within about 20-30 minutes. A loud summer floral with bold personality. Impressive longevity and projection for a designer fragrance

BotticelliBlonde

A randomly received (unwanted) sample of this in a Sephora order is what got me sticking my nose into perfumes after decades of avoiding them. To me, this is stunning. It is so unabashedly floral, a true ambrosia of some of my favorite flowers in all their beauty. I feel like this evolves to give each flower a turn to shine, sparking a lifetime of memories and associations. Such beautiful scents bring memories of happy moments, as the gardenias of my childhood, the jasmine growing outside a former lover's window, the honeysuckle of a single sun-soaked summer, roses which have sprinkled my life on various occasions. These are not memories of perfumes but of the flowers themselves, gifts from nature that have given me real happiness from their beautiful existence. It's difficult for me to express exactly what I mean, but some of those memories were moments of beauty and happiness stolen from darker realities. Whatever else was happening, my gosh, those flowers smelled glorious.

The florals are rich and beautifully balanced, the evolution is a kaleidoscope of exquisite specimens brought forward in turn until they combine into the sparkling sweetness of buttery orris. I can feel something like pollen on my skin. I am savoring my tiny sample, and every time I take it out and apply it, I have to stop everything I'm doing and drink in this precious magic. I get drunk on its beauty and whatever else is happening, my gosh, this fragrance smells glorious.

I haven't tried the original or any other flankers and I don't want to, I'm not willing to risk how this makes me feel. I love white florals and have others, but nothing like this. It is all floral and quite sweet on my skin, but it lives in a class all its own.

LSAUG

I was out shopping today for birthday presents for our friends' daughter in Kohl's and of course I'm going to take a peek in Sephora. I haven't been able to sample to many of the Gucci Bloom line because they are always under lock and key at Ulta and the last time I was at Sephora Bloom Ambrosia is always sold out. Now I like the original Bloom but I thought it lacked depth, and the one in the yellow bottle gave me a headache w/ all the solar notes so I hated that one. But when I smelled Ambrosia, I knew I found the Bloom flanker for me, and I bought the last bottle they had on the spot. The salesgirl said it is one of their best sellers and I can see why. This is a divine tuberose perfume and blows most of what is for sale at the beauty counters out of the water. Gorgeous honeysuckle and jasmine start you off but when you get to that creamy and lush tuberose in the heart it is like pure heaven. The buttery orris and slightly powdery rose give a nice and lasting finish for this heavenly perfume. This is gorgeous and well worth the money. This is a year round signature scent. Ambrosia is buttery, lush, floral sweet (not candy or fruit sweet) musky and divine. A very feminine perfume. Beautiful.

Edit:4/21/22 Ambrosia di Fiori lasts all day w/out reapplying. Well worth the money.

marigoldmarigold

this one was my signature during the best times of my life and therefore i will always associate it with such joy and delight. i pick up a lot of honey which adds a gourmand personality to such a gentle floral scent. absolutely beguiling. worth the money.

AnlisaC

So I just tried this in Ulta, I kept thinking what does the remind me of? Finally I checked it out on fragrantica and saw in the “reminds me of “ section that FM Carnal Flower was mentioned. Ok so I realized it’s quite similar but not exactly the same (don’t come for me LMAO). It’s very floral and I can see wearing this now and summer wait actually this would also work for winter. Lasting power is amazing!!! Sillage is also great. Definitely a I’m here and this is what I’m wearing type of fragrance. This comes off sweeter and not as green as Carnal Flower more of a sharp tuberose white floral. Do I recommend yes I’m buying a FB asap! 10/10

chimidoro

Honestly? This is like a little slice of heaven for me.
Heaven.

This perfume centers around a spiced tuberose. Along with that I can smell mainly honeyed white flowers (lily, jasmin?) and woods. It's so fresh, I could swear I can actually smell the pollen. I become a bee.
I find it vegetal, dry. Botanical, humid, exotic.
I see little red and black frogs on pods. I feel engulfed by tropical greens.

My best friend finds a heady incense and rose.

Two sides of the spectrum?
Maybe that's part of the magic.

Signature scent worthy.

Love it so that I sought and bought the main, original GUCCI Bloom along with the yellow (mustard) coloured version, Profumo Di Fiori.
Neither smell enough like this.
The original actually makes me nauseous shortly into the wearing. At first I can handle it (petals in water, captured by the ad campaign) but after a short while it becomes unbearable for me (muggy, muddled, too sweet). We're incompatible. Something in the original doesn't mesh well with my senses and makes me feel incredibly queasy. The mustard is nice enough but perhaps too much like a mix of this one and the original, along with a laaaarge helping of Ylang-ylang. Too much of the original in there and not enough of this one. They're both very dewy and pitch potent.

This version is perfection for me.
Other than being comparatively soft in projection.
It is a concern that if it were stronger I may not find it quite so alluring.
This is special to me, genuinely like a little slice of heaven. This is the only way I can describe it.
I have honestly dabbled with the idea of having it be my signature scent and would recommend it as such to others. It is a real beauty, a top favourite. Only wish I'd backed up and bought two more bottles of this instead of taking the blind plunge topple, getting myself those others thinking they might be just as good.

I got it right first time.

granny54

A sweeter, more powdery version of the OG. I love it!

agishka

This screams hot summer night to me. A little too heavy to wear during the day for me. Lasted around 6 hours on my skin.

madlucem613

Sick of winter? Want to pretend, spring has sprung already and you can leave your warm and spicy scents behind for awhile? Well, here you go. Spring in a bottle. Sweet, sunny, youthful but not in an exclusionary way. All are welcome to to wear a mantle of flowers and feel young, fresh, and joyful that the sun and flowers are returning. It truly is delightful. Long lasting too! and that's my corny ad for this lovely, lovely fragrance.

Arwaiq

When ever I spray this perfume , I feel like I’m in the middle of an orchard full of flowers 🌺, wonderful mood booster, perfect expect for week longevity.

senorajoselina

I’ve been looking for a rose scent for a long time that is not too ROSEY, and has a contemporary aesthetic. This one develops wonderfully through a white floral start to the rose/orris dry down. Love!

coffeefifofum

HONEYSUCKLE! So much honeysuckle.

The top note was sweet, too sweet tbh. When that died back after about 5 minutes what was left behind was honeysuckle. Clean, true, fresh, bright honeysuckle. Four hours on and it's mellowed a bit, but it's still there. The notes say the basenote is Orris root, " powdery earthy rooty scent, with woody, violet flower nuances" and OK, seems right enough. We'll say that's what's balancing the honeysuckle for the afternoon part of this now closer to the skin scent experience.

This was a skin test while popping in and out of stores on a snowing, 25F degree day. All of that can impact the scent experience, but under these circumstances I loved it. Such a great, true scent contrast with what was going on around me.

I like the original Bloom and this one make sense to me as a flanker. Same base, same personality, but the prominence of the notes has been changed. Loved it.

lisajmunro

I'm not really sure why anyone would buy this if they didn't like the OG Bloom... because this is almost exactly the same... you can see that in the notes. But weird purchasing habits aside, the original Bloom is one of my favourite fragrances for spring, so I kinda knew I'd love this - and I do.

This is a sweeter, less heavy version of Bloom. I think I can really smell the honeysuckle in the beginning, which I love. This version doesn't trigger my allergies like the original does, which I like. It also doesn't last as long, but I just keep a purse spray and reapply after a few hours, which I don't mind because I like the opening the most anyway.

Scentedalterego

Very floral, especially the opening. Tuberose and jasmine in a big loud an synthetic way. Modern mass designer base that isn't unpleasant, this one has a bit of creaminess going on. Gone after 2 hours. Poor mans version of Rouge Malachite. I like it better than the regular Bloom, but still not worth it. If you like floral opt for Bamboo or Flora of the same house, they last and will get you tons of compliments. This one won’t.

amandavolpe

Am I the only one getting Miss Dior Cherie vibes from this? It’s not listed, but there’s a very prominent note of berries to my nose. And a musky base.

“Ambrosia” in italian is frequently used to refer to liquors and wine, so even though Gucci Blooms are marketed as florals and this specific scent is listed as a floriental, I was expecting something sweet.

And I was right: to my nose, it smells like a fruity floral. It reminds me of a Portuguese cherry-like liquor, Ginjinha. Some boozy notes would have been fitting and might have made this fragrance a bit more complex and less linear, but overall I find it a pleasant scent.

I agree with some reviewers below about a certain chemical harshness, but it’s not off-putting. The white flowers are indeed very green and the rose is faint to my nose. The flower I smell the most is a green jasmine, with some bubblegum tuberose following suit.

It’s too sweet for the summer and too light for fall or winter. I think this might be a perfect scent for rainy spring days.

Goofy79

None of the gucci blooms are worth wasting money on. They last next to nothing and costs the white out of your eyes.

twiztidladii

Initial sniff I really enjoyed it but as time went on, the Tuberose totally took over the whole thing. It’s all I smell now. I personally think this could’ve been blended down a little bit smoother.

RainbowGirl

I received a Gucci Bloom sample, two flanker samples, and a Gucci Guilty EDT sample with my Oud Bouquet purchase from Macy's. Overall I have been very impressed with these Bloom fragrances. I saved this one for last, because it has a rose note included. Rose is one of my favorite fragrance notes, so I expected to like this one the best.

Gucci Bloom flanker test... GO!

Very green in the opening. So simular to Profumo (the yellow) flanker, that I actually checked the tiny bottle to make sure they didn't accidentally attach the wrong sample to the wrong card. But, nope, this is Ambrosia (the red) flanker. Can't say I am disappointed, as I love this opening. Rangoon creeper is a lovely green scent, and although it is not a listed note, I am pretty sure that is what I am smelling.

When this settles, it is much lighter than the original. It smells very different. Less creamy. I get a hint of green, sweetness from the honeysuckle, tuberose, and maybe a hint of rose. Like a hint of clean rose. Not exactly a soapy rose, but a clean green rose.

This is not a typical fresh pretty rose fragrance for rose lovers. The rose is way in the background, mixed with white florals, and very green. Like smelling a bouquet of flowers and stems, with a single rose in the midst.

The scent aura is not as strong with this fragrance, but I can still smell it around me, just MUCH lighter.

As it drys down, it gets a little sweeter, and the rose becomes more noticeable, but it is still very light. I would say this is my favorite drydown of the three.

This is not my favorite of the three, but it is still a very pretty fragrance, with a beautiful scent aura, and a really beautiful dry down. If you like light pretty clean smelling florals, you may really love this fragrance.

AmoreProfumi

Ambrosia is definitely the slightly sweeter version in the line like others stated it’s kinda of creamy/buttery. When I sprayed it on I immediately thought Tom Ford Orchid Soleil; just more florals less plastic/cereal note. I like sweet so I definitely prefer this over the original Bloom; and for a dominant tuberose scent (where I usually associate tuberose as mature) this is sexier.

Katryna G

This smells so delicious. Opening is a bit green and mentholated, but wait to see the drydown. It is creamy, buttery, sweet, almost coconutty. Dense and rounded. This one is the most bubblegummy tuberose of all of the Blooms. It is also the sweetest and somehow reminds me of summer. Like it almost has a bit of monoi. Sexy, grown up perfume. Love it.

Erica.Cass

This smells so good on me! The slightly sweet honeysuckle and tuberose is beautiful and feminine!

churinl

Like all the Blooms I have tried and own, Ambrosia is quite a lovely scent. Pretty, feminine, and east to wear provided you enjoy tuberose and jasmine, the two notes that together provide the common thread from the OG through all the flankers. Ambrosia is no exception. It's pretty, very floral and feminine, and easy to wear if you are a fan of tuberose.
Unfortunately, Ambrosia shares the same problem I have with all the Blooms I've tried and own (the OG and 3 flankers). The longevity is very poor and the silage is moderate at best. My bottle of Bloom is full sized, and the three flankers are roller balls, which may be part of the problem. However, it's a big enough problem that I will not be purchasing any other full bottles, which makes me sad because I enjoy them so much while able to smell them.

annagupta12

I just bought this today and I love it! Its just so yummy smelling. Next I will try some f the other Blooms, but when I tried samples this one stopped me in my tracks. Love it.

mars_maybenot

This is a lovely white floral, and one of the first perfumes I ever purchased. It is a classic for spring, and it smells nice in the fall too, though it's totally different from one season to another. For some reason, I dislike wearing this perfume in the summer or winter, and generally avoid it. This perfume is heavy on the honeysuckle and tuberose; orris also stands out to me, but there are other reviewers who say they don't smell it at all. I will say it does smell slightly "sharp" on my nose. It isn't something that keeps me from wearing it, but I tend to spray my outfit with it rather than my skin.

OdileVonRothbart

It is a lovely scent--I get the honeysuckle and tuberose more than the jasmine on first spray and the dry down is quite nice but ...it does not last long on me at all. And where is the "Rangoon creeper"? LOL...I have no idea what that is but it sounded appealingly exotic and this perfume is *not* exotic. It is sweet, serene and pretty so if I ever want to impersonate a sweet and serene and pretty girl, Imma wear this. ;)

This is also the first straight up floral I have tried since I used to "borrow" my mother's perfume and maybe it is that mum association that makes me want to spice this up! I am considering layering it with a little sandalwood...it may seem like blasphemy (like when I layer Chanel 5 with patchouli) but I think it might work....

Koningin

Does anyone else get Narciso Ambree from this?
I sprayed it on my arm and that’s what I immediately got. It must be the tuberose I guess.
I will try it again later on so I can fully absorb the scent.
It has a peculiar smell so far. It has the DNA of the original for sure.

carlahoffman

A delicious scent that I love along with my husband, it is a divinely beautiful scent. I love this floral scent with is so lovely and projects with a very good intensity, so much so you have to be careful not to over spray. It is the only Gucci Bloom scent that last all day long on me.

The Jasmine and Honeysuckle blend so good together where you can't pick out one or the other which is more prettier to me less linear then it will add the rose scent to it bouquet. A enticing, alluring beautiful scent which is signature worthy. Add the Orris for a feminine dry down that is a warm, light powdery, creamy floral scent. I Love This!!

Bona Dea

Bad choice, extremely weak and short-lived!

LawmaLlama

Liked on paper, but 3 separate wears and its a no-go. Too syrupy sweet. I love honeysuckle, but the tuberose . . . ugh, it is just toooooo much. The lasting power is basically 2 hours tops.

elledeelee

It's hard to review all these flankers without comparing to the original, and each other. Ambrosia is indeed very similar to original Bloom and especially Gocce di Fiori. I was hoping for more creaminess in this iteration and although I do definitely get that here, the opening has quite a strong woody note, like dry pond reeds, that I find off putting. The dry down is thankfully reed free, but has a bit more of a mature feeling to it than its predecessors. Not sure it's quite the flanker I was hoping for but I'm reaching to find unique elements, as there's barely any difference between them at this point. Overall, it's still a very beautiful, creamy white floral.

haileytf

I really loved this perfume on paper! It smelled so amazing and soft. Unfortunately, on my skin, the honeysuckle is the most prominent note and does not go away. It lasts for hours, which is great for anyone looking for such a strong honeysuckle frag. I wish it developed better on my skin, but with my Ph it's just pure honeysuckle, which is disappointing for the price and potential of the perfume. It may be better on other people's skin, so try it out! Like I said, it smells so different on paper so make sure you do a wear test on yourself :)

LuluBear

I am absolutely smitten with this!!! I did not think that I was a white floral fan because everything I have tried in the past (that was predominantly white florals) bored me or reminded me of cleaning products. THIS is truly beautiful!!!! I don't have the "expertise" to explain why this is so good...but I'll try anyways. It has a depth to it but somehow it still feels fresh (not stuffy or powdery). It ~feels~ creamy somehow?...which is what I think I was missing from other white florals. It also has a slight natural sweetness to it but nothing that would make me classify this as a "sweet" fragrance, it just stops it from turning sour on me. I would 10/10 recommend that you sample this on the skin because smelling it from the bottle does not do it justice ♡

laurenhoklin

This is a truly beautiful fragrance. The original Bloom just didn’t do it for me so I tried this instead in Ulta and immediately had to order a bottle. I now am considering buying a backup, it’s that good!

It smells like a field of flowers in the warm sun. There is a creaminess that adds depth. I think the added rose and honeysuckle really make this a perfect floral. If you like tuberose and want to find yourself in a field of flowers, you can’t go wrong with this! Worth the price.

Can'tstopFragranceAddict

This is the most beautiful fragrance I have smelled in the last few years. If you love white florals. I would say if you’re wanting a Gucci Bloom fragrance please get this one. Not that the original isn’t good but this version is just that extra indulgence I was looking for. It’s different enough to own. The opening is similar to the original but very quickly you can tell the jasmine is softened by ROSE and honeysuckle and there is a powdery softness from the orris root which is the root of the Iris flower. The dry down is sweeter and very velvety, the tuberose is incredible with the rose. it’s so creamy and a little heavier but not cloying. It’s not indolic or animalic. It’s like warm white flowers with Bulgarian rose petals and heavy cream. It’s so comforting and exceptionally well blended.
A true masterpiece.
Thank you Gucci. God I wish I got the big bottle!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

salmarubey

Wooow, one of my favorites! Smells like Gucci bloom original but little heavier, with heavier rose and tuberose. Smells like a summer night in south of Europe, where there are flowers everywhere and people are happy and sunburned. Smells like a nice expensive vacation, i blind bought it and it takes me back to wonderful memories <3 if u love flowers and love the smell of summer nights, this is for u

Bgm_1923

The freshest and sonorous of all Gucci Bloom, not so sweet and smothering, a little sour, reminiscent of sour rose hips, rice, white flowers, orange jam, some bitter herbs. Very persistent perfume for winter

bear11

My favourite of all the Gucci Bloom line; opens with strong freshness and green notes and dries down to a lovely cream tuberose with a hint of rose...sillage is not the best, but it lasts pretty long on me. Perfect day scent for spring/summer and autumn

jeanharlow

To my nose, when I compared all the Gucci Blooms, this one was the creamiest of all. Its not creamy ENOUGH for me though...Im wanting it to get that whipped cream feel of Love Tuberose but it never quite gets there. Although I own this and I love it, I think the rose opening isn't my favorite. Its a very natural Tuberose. I have also noticed this performs better on skin than clothing. When sprayed on skin, it develops better: the rose dissipates, the tuberose becomes more creamy. On clothes, the rose stays and the perfume doesnt really develop at all...stays kind of screechy? I also noticed original Bloom smells great in the heat, this one was better in the cold. I haven't been complimented on this yet, which is a shame because I have smelled the OG Bloom on others and literally swooned with delight, so I'm wondering if I should have gone for the fresher original. When this one empties I just might!

Anamandy

I'm not a fan of green tuberose fragrances. I like tuberose fragrances that are in full bloom, where lush flower blossoms have reached peak of scent and are creamy, milky, or even lightly indolic. I don't even mind dark tuberose perfumes as in Flos Mortis, where the flowers border on decay. But, this is too green for me. There's barely any sweetness to balance out the greenness either. I still prefer original Bloom as it seems more balanced to me. Still, I can appreciate this is a beautiful scent. It just isn't a beautiful scent I want to wear.

sophiekoss

the name is certainly apt! it smells like walking through an english cottage garden. unfortunately the honeysuckle is just too OTT for me. i do like the tuberose that comes through, and it's a lovely fresh floral - i cannot overstate how natural it smells - but wow that honey is overpowering

Wwoman

I own and really like the original Gucci Bloom, but this, in my opinion, is better. I love that it has an even stronger tuberose note and it seems greener and fresher than the original. It has that same warmth that the original Bloom has, but it's more tempered by freshness. I don't know if the two are different enough to justify owning both at the same time. But if in the future I finish Bloom, I may replace it with this.

Lolapoop

Bvlgari Splendida Tubereuse Mystique and Gucci Ambrosia di Fiori are almost identical with the exeption that perhaps Bvlgari is litlle bit sweeter while Gucci bit heavier and slightly more intense . Both beautiful and extremly feminine . Both pricey as for mainstream frags .Perfect for fall/winter .

sarrah_92i

I have the original Gucci Bloom, and I got a sample of Ambrosia di Fiori, It smells just like Gucci Bloom but it's more fresh and i can smell a bit of rose, which makes the scent sweeter. I must say, I prefer this one compared to Gucci Bloom. I will buy a 30ml bottle for christmas :) A lil' gift for me :p

AMajeedQT

An absolutely beautiful white floral.

It's a sweet tuberose/jasmine combo sweetened so lightly with the another flower in honeysuckle, & a touch of floral powder with orris & rose.

Beautiful all around, a love-or-like fragrance. A modernized classic smell.

Smell extremely similar to the original Bloom. I'd need side by side comparison to tell the difference.

A lovely spring day wear for any lady of any age.

Love!

muahah

First five minutes it's realistic floral with hints of green leaves. White flowers and yellow pollen, only bumble bee itself is missing. I wish that it would stay longer such strong and clear floral as in those first minutes, but over time it turns to more yellow sweet-ish. Doesn't seem interesting and I don't get any associations, it's just yellowish sweet. It's nice, clean (not soap) scent. Not really office type perfume as it's rather sweet, but probably it will be inoffensive for most. Mostly summer, but can fit any season. More as day time perfume.

ChypreAnn

I had a sample of this with a broken sprayer, so this morning I just popped it open and dumped the whole thing all over me. I get a very salty scent from this fragrance; I'm trying to figure out what it reminds me of. Maybe Bvlgari Aqva Divina but with more white floral. It's nice to wear for a day, but I won't be buying it.

DarlingNikki

abigailtorres632, thank you for putting into words what I have been trying to formulate since smelling this! I was expecting this to be at least tolerable as the original is, but when I sprayed it, I instantly recoiled and dry heaved! I couldn't even begin to discern what I was smelling, I just had to get away from it posthaste! Now reading what you've experienced I have to agree 100% that this does have that same horrible stale almond/heliotrope strangeness that Beautiful Belle and Beautiful Belle Love have and I had the same gagging reaction to both of those scents, too.

Michylaka

Bloom Ambrosia is intoxicating. Upon first spritz is a bit sour for about half a minute. I am not sure why but it is. Perhaps it is the Rose note.

Then all of a sudden it hits me. A lavish sweet Honeysuckle. I adore Honeysuckle so this is very pleasing. Then I detect a very straightforward Jasmine.

As Ambrosia develops I pick up on a glorious dominant Tuberose. This is a creamy, dreamy Tuberose. My senses get sent to the Heavens....Lahhh!!

The Orris adds an Earthy velvety dimension which is quite balancing seeing the bouquet is undeniably lush and buttery. It could become heady without it. If you love florals this is for you. A must have for the Floral lovers out there.

The sillage is strong at first then it is moderate but that is okay because I wear this baby for my pleasure. Longevity is about six hours. Not bad for a modern floral. I highly recommend!

Danifresh

Love this flanker. I am drawn to anything creamy with tuberose/white flowers and this fits the bill. I wasn't that keen on the original Bloom, it lacked depth for me as did the other flankers in the range. I sampled this on holiday and fell in love, it has a creaminess which I adore. Some of the more commercial scents are all very 'samey' these days but Gucci has done well here. For me this should have been the original Bloom and I hope it's not discontinued going forward.

churinl

I have a sample and wore it for the first time today, fresh from a shower and moisturizing my skin. It is beautiful and very similar to the original Bloom, but as others have pointed out, the rose makes it deeper, and in my opinion it lends a velvety component to the scent. The question now is whether or not to purchase a full bottle since I have the original, and many white floral perfumes. I must say that the quality is there, as in others in the line. What I may do is wait until I finish the bottle I have and purchase this one next, or drop hints to my husband before then. Another Fragrantician said something about the wonderful things Gucci is doing with tuberose, making it popular with younger people who would run away from an older white floral, screaming "granny scent". I would be happy to see florals in general making a comeback. Maybe I'm too frou frou, but I enjoy smelling feminine, and this one is definitely that!
EDIT - I didn't realize at first that this has orris in it, which accounts for the velvety feel I attributed to the rose. The projection and longevity is stellar, especially on clothing. I don't recall the last time I purchased a perfume where I could still catch whiffs of it 24 hours later. This is a big love for me!

charsept

I have a sample of this, and was enjoying it, until I got a whiff of the horse-hay that abigailtorres632 mentioned in her review. Removing from my wish list. Test this before buying.

Bubbles1964

Finally I have a sample in my clutches.

And I love it. Gucci has made some very good Tuberose centered scents in this line. I liked the original a lot, and unfortunately I cannot compare the two because I’m not sure where my sample lays. I can say that Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori is warm and full. Leans more toward cold weather in my opinion, not sure I can pull it off in Summer.

I own a lot of perfume, too much really...and I already have many Tuberose scents that I love. That said, I would not hesitate to pull the trigger on a good deal, I just can’t justify full price, though that’s not to say Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori is not worth it.

Shoshi

Really nice scent! I tried the regular Gucci Bloom as well, which is also nice - a very fresh tuberose floral bouquet. I find that the Ambrosia di Fiori is very similar, but has the addition of a sweetish rose scent, which kind of softens and deepens the Gucci Bloom scent subtly, making it easier to wear for a daily scent. I don't usually like straight florals, but this one is beautiful!

Vegas Pauli

Rich succulent white flower powerhouse that is very well done. There is also a dark green note (maybe the orris?) that takes this to the next level. The dark green note doesn’t make this masculine, but as a guy I am drawn to it and I’m thinking I can layer this with something else to make this my own. A lot of design houses have scents like this (think Prada La Femme Intense or Armani Prive Vert Malachite) but this one is hard to beat and much more affordable. Thumbs way up.

Unfurling Blossoms

I wanted so badly to love this one! It's a no from me. Very disappointed. It is a stale version of Gucci Bloom - like an unfinished Gucci Bloom sitting on the table waiting for the other notes to complete it. This is devoid of the natural floral sweetness of the original but instead has the horrible flat and bland aspects of the unfinished DNA of the original with the addition of something that smells like a mixture of blanched almonds and hay! I do not know what causes this but it is repulsive to my nose since I hate almonds - it's that same stale, musty almond note that ruined the Beautiful Belle Love flanker by Estee Lauder. I've been smelling similar notes on the market and just been turned off by it.

Edit: Spraying it again it really reminds me of the park when in the horse carriage lane, the smell of horse maneur mixed with hay. Not good... I love well done indolic fragrances this just isn't one of them. Terribly out of balance, flat with an off-putting stale maneur/horsey-hay smell.

Edit No 2: this is seriously giving me Beautiful Belle vibes mixed with Beautiful Belle Love on the dry down - nothing at all like the original Gucci Bloom except the borrowing of some notes. Totally giving me an Estee Lauder Beautiful Belle vibe, as a dupe, an hour after spraying.

missk

I enjoy the Gucci Bloom line. This popular Gucci release has made tuberose scents popular again. The original was a creamy, lush tuberose fragrance without the headiness or the 'poopy' indoles. Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori is much the same, with an interesting addition of a red rose accord.

Admittedly, if you own Gucci Bloom or another of her flankers, you probably don't need to own this one too. There are only very slight variations between them, and to an untrained nose, the differences are barely discernable.

The rose adds a touch more depth to the white floral centric composition which works nicely as an evening or cool weather alternative. If I had to pick a favourite amongst the Gucci Bloom flankers, Ambrosia di Fiori is one I would happily wear. I enjoy white florals and rose-based scents, so the pairing of these two notes appeal to my taste in fragrance.

If you found the original a tad too fresh or too green, Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori may be more your cup of tea. Not to mention the packaging is stunning with its striking red bottle, a popular choice for Christmas shoppers late last year.

I own enough tuberose scents to last me a lifetime, so I haven't considered purchasing Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori, but I would never be opposed to receiving it as a gift from a loved one.

zgnedenkova

Although Ambrosia di Fiori has some ingredients common to the whole Bloom family, like tuberose, jasmine bug, Rangoon creeper, and velvet orris, emotion-wise, it would be the closest to Nettari di Fiori.

They both have that feel of a "night-time" summer air heaviness, a flower palette that you would wear to last and impress. But Ambrosia takes it up a notch and makes it LUST. It's very seductive and sensual, the bottle cries of desire but is never blatant. It's more than a flirt but less than an invitation.

It's genuinely an amazing and charming scent that makes a great addition to the line. Give it a few seconds for the mid and base notes to kick in and take you on the mysterious journey. There's something about the cocktail that you'll always remember.

black_orchid

I thought it smells like modern Gres Cabotin at first and It is also more strong and mature than classic Blooom. I like it a lot.

gelkita

Unfortunately too heavy for me, I’ll stick with Bloom EDP & EDT and Bloom Acqua di Fiori.

tessiebee

Had high hopes for this, I'm looking for a white floral for layering. Tested it today and it's a very heavy scent but not that pleasant to be honest. It was oddly ... Over ripe and meaty. Might be 'indoles' I have heard speak of? Intense definitely

cupcake28

I'm glad I tried this first. I wasn't sure if I liked it, but I soon realized I didn't love it. Then I asked 4 people separately what they thought of it on me. Not one person liked it. It got ratings of 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. I think I like it more than the original, which I didn't like very much. I like Bond No.9 Saks for Her much more and have gotten compliments every time I wear that one.

ChocolatesAndHoney

A rich, white flower fragrance. The opening is fresh-flowery, while the base is lush and warm-tuberosey.
It's quite mature but very charming. Works all year round.
Definately my favourite out of the Gucci Bloom line.

cocofluff

- Merry Christmas! 🎄

Ambrosia is even better than the original because it is more intense. Ambrosia is sweet like the original but more creamy and buttery, sophisticated and elegant. As said below, it's Tuberose Creme Brulee to my nose. Excellent use of orris here! It does indeed smell like Gardenia due to the added butteriness. Yum! I'm in LOVE with the entire Bloom line (except Acqua di fiori).

My hubby bought me this perfume for Christmas but I've smelled it many times at perfume counters while waiting to open a bottle of my own luscious beauty. I feel so happy and lucky to have this bottle in my collection. Merry Christmas to you all!

auroramaria

Gucci at its best!I finally got a bottle of this gem and well it is just gorgeous.By the way it borders on gourmand it actually gets sweeter with time, thick tluberose and plushy vanilla make Ambrosia opulent and sensual, what a beauty.

iris_iris

Well, who would have guessed Fracas is gonna be reincarnated and 71 years later Gucci Bloom Ambrosia will arise.

I love it

auroramaria

Now that it is cold this is the right Bloom to wear! i wore it last night a d the smell was so rich and gorgeous it could not go unnoticed in fact I got complimented and it felt so good.Def an amazing fragrance by Gucci I feel like this is what original Bloom should have been in the first place

Kon-nos91

To begin with correctly, Ambrosia for the Greek mythology was the drink of Olympian Gods. A sweet and deep dark red wine. For a strange reason, perfumes in dark red bottles are a 'like' for me.

I very liked Gucci Bloom EDP when first came out. Maybe cause I am a fan of white florals. We connect white flowers to unfortunatelly 'bad ceremonies' if you get my point and mostly with tuberose. It is an overdose of 'watery' tuberose and the good thing is that lasting power as well sillage are so good that I even got complimented from a harsh judge, my mother! Why I say all this and don't go str8 to Ambrosia? Because Gucci did a good work for white flower lovers.

Now about Ambrosia EDP edition. Aren't there too many editions already? Ok maybe Acqua di fiori is the only edition that goes to an another direction. Here, when first smelled, I said yes, I like it. Then test again and thought that I smelled a win-y jasmin or let's say a red wine aromatized by white florals. Damask rose is in perfect balance to give it a sweet twist, you almost don't get it and there's also a whisper of green freshness-musky-earthiness. At this stage,it reminded me a bit of Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc. Here jasmin/honeysuckle are the stars. Don't expect something new and crazy but expect a more serious if not mature, more linear, more womanly, softer edition of the Bloom family.

Edemay

More sassy and intense than the original,
I too get fracas vibes
To me this is a sophisticated scent, I can see a smart woman who has her life together wearing this.

ceilstrakna

I'm wearing Ambrosia for the first time today. My initial thoughts: this Gucci Bloom fragrance lies exactly in the middle of the original Gucci Bloom and Gucci Bloom Nettare de Fiori, both of which I like a lot. Its tuberose is a little "louder" than the OG fragrance, while it contains a bit of the earthiness/spiciness of Nettare.

So far, its strength and longevity on my skin is right there in the middle, as well - OG Bloom doesn't last at all on me, while I can still smell Nettare's spicy/herbal notes hours and hours after I spray it on. I'll have to see how long Ambrosia lasts.

UPDATE: I realize that this fragrance reminds me of Korloff Majestic Tuberose, only not as spicy. I layered the two today and they smell great together!

With this one I really smell Fracas similarities. It's Gucci Bloom softer but also far more well rounded. I still prefer the original, though.

A sultry, feminine white floral that manages to be daytime acceptable. Conveys hot, humid, sticky summer nights after a thunderstorm, with the very faintest rot/indolic smell. The honeysuckle and tuberose are strong and lasting, with soft orris underneath. It's not as strong a tuberose as something like EL PC Tuberose Gardenia, so with a light spritz you can probably wear it to work and not make people around you faint. Heavier application is date night appropriate. I never tried the original Bloom, only a card tester of the Nettare flanker which didn't impress me at all but I love this.

This perfume is so gorgeous! The longevity is just amazing and the scent of tuberose, which often doesn't work on my skin, is beautiful. I am just overwhelmed by this. In addition to my skin, I sprayed a tester card and put it in my purse...I can still smell it when I'm a couple of feet away and it's been 36 hours! This would be a great Christmas gift; safe, but beautiful and special too. I'm so glad it has "ambrosia" in its name, otherwise, I may not have reached for it, and what a shame that would be. It's so very pretty!

I love original Bloom with its powdery and slightly sweet tuberose but I have to admit that Ambrosia is even better because it is more intense and it is so creamy and sophisticated and elegant.I think Ambrosia is the best Bloom so far. Also sillage and longevity are both great.

raiza1990

Very similar to the others from this line, but more mature. The opening is earthy and a bit powdery, later i get fresh white flowers. Very pleasant and elegant. For white floral lovers definitely worth a try.
Overall, it’s sensual, confident and feminine.
I really like it.

I purchased my bottle from Macy's earlier this week.
I have to say: I ABSOLUTELY 100% agree with the poster below me. This outclasses ALL of the Gucci Bloom flankers. Damn! This perfume is GORGEOUS! A little FYI, I do tend to lean into being more of a niche chick in acquisitions. But, to ask me, I'm not really one way or the other. I buy and wear what I like. I don't care who makes it or whose name is on it. That's the truth. I actually roll my eyes when I see designer ads. But, I keep an open mind and nose when it comes to the juice. Wow! This one is nice. A dense, rich cold weather floral for us flower loving hippie chicks.Thank you Gucci, from the bottom of my flower laiden heart.
Peace out sisters!
& my brothers.

With Ambrosia di Fiori, Gucci outclasses every Bloom flanker, making the jus more carnal, creamy and intense, rightly observed by you, without depriving it of the original lymphatic green freshness.
Even the red color emphasizes my subjective perception.
Despite it contains discordant ingredients, typology ideally reminds me of the last masterpiece I tested at Bvlgari, Tubereuse Mystique, and honestly I wouldn't know which one to choose between the two.
Remaining on Gucci theme, my choice at this point would fall on 'Ambrosia', downgrading to the second place (I mean as a purchase order) 'Nettare', that I've had on my wish list for a long time now.

This is the best of the Bloom line. It has the sweet, warm, creamy quality that I expect when I hear "tuberose perfume". It carries some of the spectacular deliciousness of Love Tuberose by Amouage (which is signature-worthy to me)...But underneath it all is the smell of Gucci Bloom, which is clean, fresh in a modern way, with a nice honeysuckle note. A bit perfumey, but elegant, and versatile. I could happily use a full bottle, but I long for Love Tuberose more than anything. Either way, I happily reapply with great pleasure.

i love this new scent !!! at first spray it has a unique different type of scent - maybe its the creeper note (not sure what that is suppose to smell like lol )

BUT then it develops into a beautiful luxe tuberose scent !!! and that stays with u forever !!! i dont mean forever like powerhouse strong lol i mean like it lingers beautifully :) so if u love tuberose give this a try :)

and i love the dark red bottle..........i hope they come out with more flankers in other colors lol - i know more flankers omg lol but im a sucker for them lol...........would love to see a bloom in a purple bottle with a lavender or orchid vibe......maybe a bright yellow with a citrus vibe & im sure black for the night vibe is not far behind lol

I was very eager to test this newest flanker of Gucci Bloom. The description looked promising - but the scent itself doesn’t bring anything new to the table. It’s very similar to the original Bloom, only a bit stronger, creamier and sweeter. In terms of performance, it is definitely an improvement on the pilar fragrance; but in terms of creativity, I’m afraid that it’s the case of same ol’ same ol’. At least the bottle is beautiful.

Tuberose Creme Brulee´.
It is creamier,´sweeter´(warmer,´ thicker´), than the original Bloom.

A scent of excellent quality and class.

Expanding Bloom’s new age, tuberose lite formula, Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori makes for a more decadent wear than its predecessors with a base of whipped orris butter and soft, satiny Damascus rose, which here lends a textural element more than a distinctly rosy character. As is to be expected of a Bloom flanker, Ambrosia di Fiori is still very much a tuberose composition, now though, there is depth where once there was only gossamer petals and musk.

And that bottle, Christmas gift perfect!

I got a strong smell of orchid from this, I'm surprised I didn't see it in the notes!

I tried this today, it is a very nice fragrance at the same time it smells like something I may already have in my collection. It is definitely a well made gourmand much better than the other fragrances those other companies released this fall. I was not impressed with "Memoire d'une odeur", but I would purchase this once I am able to find it at a discounted price.

I decided to purchase this one, I found it at a discounted price online. I cannot wait to add it to my collection.

I used this fragrance for the first time, I layered it with the Bloom Guccie Dry Body Oil, It made me feel like a princess. I am not sure it is a fragrance for the winter, I think it is more for spring and fall. Anyway, who cares, wear it whenever you feel like it; after all it is your perfume and your body do whatever pleases you. Forget the haters.

This is a very rich natural smelling tuberose. Not very interesting but definitely high quality. I like it!

I love Gucci’s Bloom line. The Bloom EDP made tuberose palatable to younger generations, shaking off vintage dust from the accord and proving it’s the perfect floral note for people of any age. The “sequels” have also become must-sniff. They aren’t just cash-ins; rather, each flanker recontextualizes the original EDP in a different light. Ambrosia di Fiori, Bloom’s fourth flanker, perhaps bests all of its siblings. Here, there’s that irresistible harmony of tuberose, jasmine, and honeysuckle, only now, it’s been deepened. Under the “Bloom-ness” is a creamy orris shaded by rose—a dry-down to fall in love with.

Beautiful scent, beautiful bottle. And longevity? I tested one spray on my wrist in the afternoon, then woke up the next morning with Ambrosia di Fiori still radiating.
