Hoya carnosa 'Speckles' is a cultivar of Hoya carnosa (L.fil.) R.Br. On its fresh green foliage, it produces beautiful, subtle variegation in form of little spots, hence the name.

Hoya carnosa 'Dark red' leaves are quite narrow and filigrane-looking, they may emerge dark red/ burgundy, hence the name.
The genus was named in Modern Latin in honor of English gardener and botanist Thomas Hoy (c. 1750-1822).
