Tillandsia BAILEYI Air Plant

Commonly known as Baileys Ball Moss or reflexed airplant

Unusual curved and contorted leaves making a great specimen plant

Native to southern Texas in the United States and Mexico, however now more widely found from Mexico to Nicaragua. Average size approx 15cm across and 20cm high. The plant have a unusual frosted silvery appearance, with stiff leaf blades. The leaves are involute, subulate and often upwardly curved and contorted along their lengths making an unusual and interesting specimen plant. The flowers are indigo in colour.

Air plants are ideal for naturalistic bioactive vivariums or simply used as an attractive home decoration. You are buying one plant.

The plants in the photo are established plants which have been grown on and developed over time. The plants we sell are young specimens that are designed to allow you, as the owner, to see the plant develop and establish over time, and eventually flower and pup. You can achieve the same as the photos (1 to 3), from the plant we send you, given the correct care, attention and time.
