This are easy to take care flowering plants, A real Southern species, found in Argentina and Paraguay. A larger form of this handsome species, still stays only about 8 to 10 inches tall in a bulbous, upright rosette. The leaves are stiff, fairly spiny, and recurve sharply at the tips, forming a tubular throat. The inflorescence is on a short scape, and the top of the plant blushes reddish when in bloom. Fairly cold hard, at least down to freezing for short periods.,
Plant only in very fast draining soil. Never allow them to sit in water, set in very bright light or morning sun. We are offering a few adult plants already flowering with one pup. They are fast growers and easy to care, we have small pups available, with or without roots . SEE LAST 2 PICTURES
Most bromeliads do hold up fine during shipping depending on how cold it is and where you are at. I will not replace for cold damage, if the weather is extreme, please wait on ordering or order at your own risk. I only ship the healthiest plants, I can't control what the weather does to them. Shipping to areas that are too cold will be at buyer's risk
