This is the best racing game to come out of 2008 and the re-release for the PC Version is just as awesome. There's nothing lost in the transition and the graphics are even better on higher end systems. The online play is quick jump from offline to online with an on-the-road menu system. The cars range from old style mob Hot Rods to F1 Race cars and everything in between. there are over 800 different collectibles and over 100 roads to rule in bolth the Car and Bike versions of the game so it's a guaranteed 10 hours to beat it to the top level, Criterion elite. The game's awesome and if you like racing games and are good at them then I'd definitely recommend picking it up. if you don't like racing games and are bad at them then I wouldn't recommend this game.
Pros: Great gameplay. Strong simulation. Nice scenery. Nice sound track. Cons: Does not support H-shifter and clutch

The best graphics for a racing game. Tons of fun, and more fun to play the party mode. Only downside and it's a small one, the menu system is a bit convulted. Takes awhile to get used to navigating. But don't let that spoil the great racing game that this is.
While you can't download content from EA anymore (they want you to buy the remastered version, of course) there's plenty to love about the original. Takes you right back to 2-0-0-9. Still challenging, still fun. Great music, too. No BIG SURF ISLAND, as it never made it to the original PC version (although, again, EA makes it available in the remastered version). Responsive controls, well-thoughtout map, impressive crash mechanics. All around fun arcade racer. Online play doesn't seem to exist anymore since the servers at EA don't respond, which is a slight bummer, but the single player gives you plenty to do.

The game is fun, one of the best in the Burnout series. I bought it for my son who plays pc games and he enjoys it. I personally prefer the Playstation 3 version better, solely because I prefer consoles. The pc version is identical though and just as much fun. This is a must buy for any who enjoys racing games, and is one of the best in the Burnout series. If you never played any in the series I highly recommend this one.
