Very happy to report that I ordered a genuine, brand new, Holset HY35W with a single scroll 9cm2 turbine housing, and that is EXACTLY what I got. It was delivered in Holset packaging and is perfect.
I’m not sure if I was lucky or the seller had done their end well (there was a clearly marked bundle of export packaging attached to it) but I didn’t have to pay additional import fees which is always nice. Been stung by that before with other parts.
Looking forward to strapping it to my Volvo :)

Turbo was in amazing condition, posted within an hour of contact. I highly recommend seller.
I genuinely am surprised how good my turbo is for the money. He also answered some questions really late at night which was much appreciated.
The only negative aspect was the UPS courier who kept my turbo for 4 days in the UK after I paid the import charges and payed for next day delivery. UPS driver said there is no international next day service since Brexit. Save your money and get standard delivery.
