Corvara
Corvara (1,568m) is located in the heart of the Italian Dolomites Mountains and the centre of the renowned Alta Badia region, with access to the best skiing in the area. Corvara township straddles a wide, inviting valley and is characterised by a trademark church steeple. The openness and allure of this classically traditional town never fail to impress Dolomites Ski Tours’ clients entering from surrounding mountain passes.
Known for its open slopes and grand vistas, the upper skiing also provides views of the Austrian alps to the north. Alta Badia encompasses five resort villages and 60 of the Dolomites’ 450 ski lifts, all providing access to the famous Sella Ronda circuit.
This area is home to the steep World Cup GS Course at La Villa resort (the “Gran Risa”, reputed to be the toughest GS course in the world) but also many kilometres of high sunny slopes, charming tree-lined trails and an array of impressive mountain restaurants (rifugi). The Alta Badia area even boasts several Michelin Star restaurants.
When it comes to skiing options and alpine charms Corvara and the Alta Badia region have it all.

The long-established Posta Zirm Hotel in Corvara combines Alpine tradition with modern hospitality. Enjoy high-class cuisine, Far Eastern wellness philosophies and the breathtaking natural landscapes. The hotel is located next to the Col Alto gondola and in the centre of the village of Corvara. Run by the Kostner family since 1908, the Posta Zirm is recognised as one of the best hotels in Corvara. Rooms in the original part of the hotel will be renovated into Comfort and Superior rooms.
The hotel has bars and lounges, wellness centre with swimming pool. Sunday to Sunday weeks. Breakfast and dinner included.

Posta Zirm Apartments
The Posta Zirm Residence apartments are next door to the Hotel. The apartments are comfortable, furnished in traditional style, but with modern conveniences. The proximity allows guests to use all the Hotel’s facilities. There’s easy access to the hotel’s restaurant, the Taverna and the Wellness Centre with saunas, swimming pool and fitness facilities.
The Apartments also lie a few steps from the Col Alto Gondola and the ski slopes. Prices include towel-change every second day, change of linen once a week, final cleaning and use of pool and access to the Wellness Centre.
Ski lift tickets and return transfers from Bolzano are also included.
