Never in the history of pop has such a high-profile girl group had as many line-up changes at the Sugababes.

Their career spanned over 13 years with four different incarnations, achieving five Top 10 albums and 18 Top 10 singles (including six No.1s). But by 2011 they had regenerated one too many times, and were left with no original members.

Along came the originals as MKS, while the final roster kept promising new music, but alas, they have all but disappeared from the charts. Here's what happened to all six of the Angels with Dirty Faces.

SIOBHÁN DONAGHY

The red-headed original Sugababe was the first to leave the band back in 2001. Legend spoke of her escaping the group through a bathroom window during a press conference, but sadly for fans of pop gossip, Siobhán later denied that.

The singer-songwriter later revealed that she was actually suffering from clinical depression during this time, and threw herself into solo music projects to overcome it. It resulted in two albums - 2003's Revolution In Me and 2007's Ghosts - with the latter going down as one of the most underrated pop gems of the noughties. Siobhán regards it as her best work, and said that she won't ever do any more solo projects because she sees it as her peak.

After years of saying she wouldn't reform with the Sugababes, Siobhán left her office job at Storm Models in 2012 to become part of MKS with her former bandmates Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan. They released new single 'Flatline', but it wasn't the commercial comeback everyone had hoped for.

MUTYA BUENA

Mutya Buena was the second original Babe to leave the fold, parting with the group in December 2005. She went on to have some decent chart success as a soloist with her infectious jam 'Real Girl' peaking at two and 'Song 4 Mutya' at number eight in 2007.

Her debut album Real Girl also made the Top 10 in the UK, but for whatever reason she didn't want to release a second record. Instead she started training to become a psychologist for children. But first - reality TV fame came with her 2009 stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house alongside Coolio, Ulrika Jonsson and Verne Troyer.

Mutya then reunited with her former original Sugababes line-up to form MKS in 2012, but that wasn't before the star achieved a minor victory in the court. That's right, as of 2011 Mutya Buena won back the rights to the Sugababes name… but only on paper and cardboard goods. We're still waiting for her range of Sugababes paper plates and napkins, if we're being totally honest with you.

IN 2017 Mutya set up her own agency, Colour of Musiq, and released new music to her Insta.

KEISHA BUCHANAN

London girl Keisha Buchanan was the longest serving Sugababe, having survived three incarnations of the revolving girl group line-up. She was sensationally ousted in September 2009, despite having pretty much recorded the majority of the group's seventh studio album Sweet 7. Yikes.

Shortly after she featured on Jay Sean's album All Or Nothing (remember him?), before starting work on her own studio record. However, despite an industry showcase at Jacques Townhouse in London in 2011, Keisha's solo material never really came to fruition. She later left her deal at Island Records to form MKS with Siobhán and Mutya.

What next for MKS? Well, it's widely believed that Mutya Keisha Siobhán, to give them their full title, have an entire album recorded and ready to go, but the unexpected underperformance of their first single 'Flatline' has somewhat stalled the campaign. There have been whispers that they still intend to put the record out, but the girls themselves have been very tight-lipped about it all.

HEIDI RANGE

Scouse singer Heidi Range joined Sugababes in 2001, replacing the then-departed Siobhán Donaghy. She enjoyed the girl group's biggest chart successes through the noughties, featuring on six of their seven studio albums.

However, after the Sugababes' final single, 'Freedom', was released as a free digital download on Amazon in 2011, the group basically split without any official confirmation or announcement. Heidi quickly moved on, competing in ITV's Dancing On Ice the following year, as well as Celebrity MasterChef.

But the most ridiculous post-Sugababes rumour to surface for Heidi was when tabloid reports claimed she would be replacing Victoria Beckham as part of a new reunion tour with the Spice Girls. Erm, really? Of course the Spice Girls denied it and Heidi tweeted: "Ahh and there was me all getting ready to be Suga Spice, haha x." More recently, though, she took on the role of Beth in the West End musical of The War Of The Worlds alongside Daniel Bedingfield.

AMELLE BERRABAH

Amelle joined the Sugababes in 2005 after Mutya Buena decided to call it a day. The first single she featured on for the girl group was 'Red Dress'. But she quickly developed a reputation for being the badass of the band, getting arrested for alleged assaults in 2007 and 2008 – no charges were bought on either occasion. She is also the only 'Babe to have a No.1 single outside of the group, achieving the feat on Tinchy Stryder's 'Never Leave You' in 2009.

After the Sugababes' unceremonious demise in 2011, Amelle got stuck into working on a solo record. She's released a handful of collaborations with dance DJs and rappers, before putting out her own track 'Summertime' in 2014. Unfortunately, it didn't get much traction and her music career has seemingly stalled in the interim.

Amelle also gave reality TV a shot back in 2014, competing in BBC One's celebrity gymnastic contest Tumble. Later that year she married Marcio Sousa Rosa, and although divorce rumours quickly just12 months later, Amelle very recently put the record straight saying she's "happily married". She appeared on Celebrity Masterchef in 2016.

JADE EWEN

Londoner Jade Ewen joined the Sugababes after Keisha Buchanan was sensationally fired from the group by management. It came following her Top 5 placing for the UK at Eurovision in 2009, which is still our best position in recent memory. Jade released just two Top 10 singles as part of Sugababes, as well as the album Sweet 7.

After the group were pretty much done in 2011, many expected Jade to revert back to the solo album she was working on right before joining Sugababes (wasn't 'My Man' such an underrated gem?). However, despite a handful of promises that she's working towards a new record, we've yet to hear any fresh material from the star.

Jade competed in Tom Daley's ITV diving show Splash! back in 2013, and admitted afterwards that she only did it for the money. But she was declared bankrupt in 2015, reportedly owing thousands to the taxman. After a small part in BBC's long-running A+E drama Casualty and comedy series The Tracy Ullman Show, Jade embarked on a whole new world as Princess Jasmine in the musical adaptation of Aladdin on London's West End.
