Leonardo DiCaprio's new movie Killers of the Flower Moon from director Martin Scorsese has confirmed a 2023 release date.
The upcoming film, which stars DiCaprio alongside Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone and Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons, is set to hit cinemas on Friday, October 20 this year.
Based on the best-selling non-fiction book of the same name from author David Grann, Killers of the Flower Moon tells the real-life story of a series of brutal murders that took place during the early 1920s in Osage County, Oklahoma.

"Killers of the Flower Moon is set in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the Reign of Terror," reads the official movie synopsis.
Scorsese serves as director for the upcoming movie from Apple Original Films, while Eric Roth takes on screenwriting duties.
The film, which also stars actors Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, Jillian Dion and Tantoo Cardinal, is set to get a limited theatrical release in partnership with Paramount Pictures on October 6 before its wide release on October 20.
Back in 2021, Apple released a first-look image of DiCaprio in character as Ernest Burkhart and Lily Gladstone as his wife Mollie, an Osage woman.

In the still from the movie, Gladstone and DiCaprio can be seen sitting next to each other at a dining table in a scene that depicts the early stages of Ernest and Mollie's relationship.
Jesse Plemons takes on the lead role of FBI agent Tom White, the man responsible for investigating the murders. The role was initially intended for DiCaprio who later took on the secondary role as Ernest Burkhart, nephew to Robert De Niro's powerful local rancher.
Killers of the Flower Moon will release in cinemas on October 20, 2023.
