Arsenal and England star Beth Mead saw the funny side of an awful Sky Sports photoshop blunder of her.

An eagle-eyed viewer spotted a Sky graphic promoting the Gunners' upcoming clash with West Ham on Sunday (October 30) which showed Mead's head, but not her body. She'd been photoshopped, badly, on top of an Arsenal team-mate.

It therefore looked like England's Player of the Year had bigger arms which were a much darker skin tone than her face. The supporter tweeted a picture and wrote: "What have @skysports done to Beth Mead? The photoshop editor needs lessons @bmeado9 please confirm this is not your arm!!!"

"Can confirm it is not mine," replied Mead, who added a laughing emoji to the end of her post. The error also had others in hysterics.

One wrote: "The more I look at it, the funnier it gets." Another commented: "State of this photoshop."

A third joked: "These weights are paying off Beth." And a fourth quipped: "The designer is a Tottenham fan."

Is the error disrespectful to the women's game? Let us know in the comments section.

One jibed: "Never mind 'don’t skip leg day' don’t skip left arm day." But others weren't impressed, with one tweeting: "You can see where they have cut and pasted her head onto another players body. Awful editing."

Another pleaded: "@SkySports do better. This is lazy and Beth is not exactly a new or obscure player you couldn’t get an actual image of is she. Glad she has taken it in jest but it’s still not on. Give the girls some respect after all they’ve achieved please."

And a third frustrated fan added: "That’s so bad..!! Even the neck line! Proper amateur!"
