During the evening, Nadiya revealed to MailOnline how she plans to rescue her family members from war-torn Ukraine as soon as she gets the opportunity.
After months of tensions between Moscow and Kyiv, Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine by land, air and sea on February 24.
'I think we’re all affected by it,' she said. 'I still have my father there and my grandparents, a lot of friends, it’s a very tough subject to talk about. It’s so difficult.'
'The war has been going on since 2014 when my family was involved all the time so it’s been very long for me.'
She added: I’m in touch with them and I help as much as I can. I couldn’t get my father and my grandmother anywhere close to me but they’re there and they’re safe at the moment so as soon as I will get the chance to get them I’ll do that.
