1958 Enzmann 506 Roadster

The Garage Enzmann of Schupfheim, Switzerland assembled a doorless 2-seater fiberglass body made by A. and O. Staempfli of Grandson, Switzerland (plastic boat builders) on a Volkswagen floor pan with air-cooled engines. Little changed over the 100 or so cars made between 1957 and 1970 although engine tuning became available, including a complete Okrasa 1,295cc motor. This motor made 100 mph possible under the right circumstances and in such a light car (properly controlled suspension not withstanding) with nimble handling, steering, and braking.

The model number 506 was nothing more complicated than their stand number at the 1957 Frankfurt Auto Show.
