The diamond-shaped neighborhood of Laconia rests in the north-central region of The Bronx. To its northwest, across Boston Road, is Olinville. East Gun Hill Road forms the northeastern border with Baychester, while Esplanade and the 5-train rail lines form the southeastern border with Pelham Gardens. Bronxwood lies to the southwest, beyond Williamsbridge Road.
