RHS Perfect for pollinatorsAttractive to pollinators
This is a particularly fine miniature version of the strain, ideal for containers and window boxes and indoors as a pot plant for the smallest window sill. Above all, however, it will make a fine bedding plant, a use for the Heliotrope all but forgotten nowadays. Of a neat, compact habit, it produces large and generous heads of deep purple-blue flowers. 10ins (25cm)

A very popular plant grown for its blue or violet flowers, the main charm of which is their powerful scent. Although actually a shrub, it is normally grown as a half-hardy annual.
