About Charlotte Han

Described by professors as a “future leader in the industry,” Charlotte Han has garnered a notable presence for her exceptional ability to manage within the arts. As both an avid musician and a natural leader, she has collaborated with numerous renowned musicians, arts administrators, and recording engineers from across the industry, including Daniel Ho, Virginia Kelsey, Kyle Bruckmann, Philip West, and Leslie Ann Jones. She has been recognized as a “captivating” violinist, an “uncommonly driven and mature artist and human being,” and an individual capable of “enacting principled and diligent leadership.”  

 

Charlotte’s love for the arts and aptitude for management enabled her to develop a multi-faceted portfolio that ranges from working for the Los Angeles Philharmonic to leading her college orchestra through Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade with 2-days' notice. Throughout high school she served as Junior Advisor and Public Relations Intern for the non-profit music education organization Crescendo Young Musicians Guild, and was the founding president of Arcadia’s Tri-M Music Honor Society. From 2021-2022, Charlotte worked for the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s artistic department under a handful of positions, including Artist Department Intern, Artist Asset Coordinator, and Artistic Planning Assistant. As the 2021-2023 President of the University of the Pacific’s Conservatory Student Senate, she worked closely with leadership to enhance the Conservatory experience for all students.  

 

In 2021, Charlotte earned the Concertmaster position for the University of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra and has served in a multitude of leading violin roles since, including 1st violin for the Pacific Heavy Ensemble and 28/78 New Music Ensemble. She also dove into stage management and collaborated with the Pacific Opera Theatre program on their productions of The Threepenny Opera and Into The Woods. Charlotte is a member of Mu Phi Epsilon and Pi Kappa Lambda and is a founding member of the widely-respected ensemble, A String Quartet. 

 

Charlotte has worked for the Stockton Symphony as first the Assistant to the CEO then the Social Media Coordinator, alongside serving as both the Senior Engineer and Social Media Manager for the Owen Hall Recording Studio. She discovered her passion for the recording studio once she was able to step foot back on campus post-COVID and has, as her mentors have stated, “truly hit her stride.” Charlotte has recorded tracks ranging from singer-songwriter acoustic songs to contemporary electro-acoustic oboe solos. Her portfolio lists a multitude of diverse collaborations including University of the Pacific’s Chamber Ensembles, Kyle Bruckmann, Natsuki Fukasawa, Benom Plumb, Pacific Jazz Ensemble, HIND•SIGHT, and PacAve Records. Charlotte graduated summa cum laude from the University of the Pacific with a BM in Violin Performance and a minor in Music Management under the instruction of Dr. Ann Miller, and is pursuing a Master's in Record Production at the University of West London.
