I really enjoyed playing Soul Calibur II on the Nintendo GameCube since my childhood because my most favorite part of it was Link being in the game along with hearing his theme song playing in the background.

Who is impacted?

Back in 2013, Soul Calibur II was first re-released as Soul Calibur II HD Online onto PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360… except for the Wii U. Which means that we didn’t get to see Link for it and I’m sure that impacted a lot of fans, including myself in a very disappointing way. Here’s an example of how the roster became down below:

So because of this, I always thought to myself like wouldn’t it be very cool to have Heihachi Mishima (from Tekken), Link (from The Legend of Zelda) and Spawn all together for a 4K Remaster of Soul Calibur II on Nintendo Switch or the next Nintendo console to come after it.

What’s at stake?

If we get a 4K Remaster of Soul Calibur II onto Nintendo Switch or the next Nintendo console, we’ll get all three guest characters from the PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and Xbox versions of the game. Plus, everyone will be excited and pumped up to hear about this. But if it doesn’t get released for the Nintendo Switch, then it could be very disappointing. Besides, people have said that they would love to see a remaster of Soul Calibur II for Nintendo Switch, but only if Link appears. And I bet that goes the same for Heihachi Mishima and Spawn being in it with him. Here’s the results in the link for this article:

Why is now the time to act?

The reason why is because this year is going to be the 22nd Anniversary of Soul Calibur II and it would be a very golden opportunity to do something like this for Nintendo Switch that neither Namco Bandai, Nintendo or Todd McFarlane cannot and should not pass on.
