POTENTILLA
Commonly known as Buttercup shrub, Shrubby cinquefoil
Best colour in dull weather conditions. All Flower JUN-OCT
Genus of about 330 species of shrubs, herbaceous perennials and a few annuals and biennials found throughout the northern hemisphere in habitats ranging from meadows to mountain screes.
10 or more natives including the rare native P. fruticosa, Shrubby Cinquefoil, other Cinquefoils, Silverweed and the four-petalled Tormentil.
