OLEARIA
Commonly known as Daisy bush
IN the aster family all have daisy-like flower heads, carried singly or in clusters.
Genus of about 180 species of evergreen shrubs and small trees from a variety of habitats in New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand.
'Zennorensis' and x scilloniensis exist as reminders of holidays in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Medium shrubTypically grow to around 4-6 feet in heightDense, rounded shrub with brown, downy shoots. Produces flowers in spherical corymbs 15-20cm (6-8in) across.

Hardy - average winterHardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F) -
