Our newest and most promising clumping bamboo introduction, 'Gerry' has gorgeous, pastel purple culms and matte green leaves, upright stature, and cold hardy to -10F. It is similar to F. nitida but with thicker diameter canes and wider spacing. Dramatic color changes throughout the seasons. To 12' tall, shade loving.
USDA Zones: 5-9, Not recommended for climates with a lot of intense heat or high summer humidity (including most of the southern USA)
