BMO by Candy is my mom's online food business. She started late May of this year. But the recipe of the Baked Mac Overload traces way back. 

It graced the dinner table of every family gathering, birthday, and Noche Buena; where relatives fought for their own slice of its overwhelmingly cheesy goodness. The recipe was originally from my grandmother but it was eventually passed down to my mom. 

I decided to convince her to sell it publicly, she was hesitant at first but she eventually gave in and agreed to start an online food business. 

Originally, I just agreed to make a simple logo for her and some quick food packaging design. But I eventually enjoyed working on the social media posts, taking photos and videos of the Baked Mac and further improving on the packaging design of the product. 

For the logo design, I wanted to convey instantly what she's selling and I believe that simple logotype fits best for her brand. Straightforward, simple, and flexible. 

I then made a simple design element which we can play with. It's a macaroni pasta forming a smiley face. We placed this design element to our stickers and to our social media posts. It adds to the warmness of the brand's tone. 

I also helped her in setting up and managing the social media pages, I took photos and videos of the products as well as editing and working on some graphics.
