Review Derby Hotel Barcelona

Page Content

Derby Hotel main entrance
The impressive and imposing Derby Hotel Barcelona is situated in the Les Corts area, one of Barcelona's main financial districts, and caters for travellers who like a bit of luxury on their business weekend. The Derby Hotel shines with polish and is incredibly quiet. The hotel has the atmosphere of a museum or library, and you feel like you shouldn't touch anything, especially when there are so many staff around. The museum atmosphere is further emphasised in the lobby where there are paintings by the contemporary artist Guinovart.

I think the Hotel Derby Barcelona is best suited to business people as it really doesn't have the right atmosphere for families or tourists. It is a lovely hotel, smart and sophisticated but you may have to be wearing a suit to feel at home.
