The Suzuki SX4 is a compact crossover developed jointly by Japanese car manufacturer Suzuki and Fiat. It’s been around SA’s roads since 2008 and remains a good choice for those who are keen on Japanese workmanship and dependability. The SX4 is powered by a 1.6-litre, naturally aspirated engine that returns good fuel economy. The SX4 can also be had in AllGrip guise, meaning 4 x 2 or 4 x 4 mode is selectable via a rotary knob. The SX4 is rather low to the ground, so if you want more off-road ability, rather go for the Suzuki Vitara.
