Novak Djokovic enters Wimbledon chasing plenty of history. The Serbian, who has won the past four editions of The Championships, will be the firm favourite when he takes the court at SW19 having triumphed at the first two majors of the season.

Djokovic Owns More Wimbledon Wins Than The Rest Of The Top 20 Combined
The 36-year-old owns an 86-10 record at Wimbledon. His 86 wins are more than the rest of the Top 20 players in the Pepperstone ATP Rankings combined (85).

The player in the Top 20 with the second-most wins at Wimbledon is Karen Khachanov, who has 11. Djokovic’s winning percentage at the tournament is 89.6 per cent compared to 56.3 per cent for the rest of the Top 20.

Djokovic is 89-8 at the Australian Open, 92-16 at Roland Garros and 81-13 at the US Open.

Novak Can Tie Roger’s SW19 Record
When Roger Federer earned his record eighth Wimbledon title in 2017, Djokovic owned just three trophies at the event.

This year, the Serbian has an opportunity to tie Djokovic with eight crowns at the grass-court major. The most titles Djokovic has won at a single major is 10 at the Australian Open.

Djokovic and Federer met four times at Wimbledon in their Lexus ATP Head2Head series, with the former emerging victorious three times.

He Can Win Three Majors In A Season For The Fourth Time
Djokovic can win his third major of the season by triumphing on Centre Court, which would mark the fourth time he has claimed three majors in a year, a feat no other man has accomplished. The 36-year-old has already emerged victorious at the Australian Open and Roland Garros in 2023. 

It would be the second time he has won the first three legs of the Grand Slam after accomplishing the feat two years ago. Djokovic is trying to become the first man to claim all four majors in a season since Rod Laver in 1969.

Djokovic Can Claim Five Consecutive Titles At A Major For The First Time
There are not a lot of firsts for Djokovic to check off, but he has not yet won five consecutive titles at a major. He can do so this year at Wimbledon.

If the Serbian triumphs, he would join Bjorn Borg (1976-80) and Federer (2003-07) as the only men to win five consecutive Wimbledon titles in the Open Era.

Going For 12 Majors After 30
Only five men in history have won at least 12 major singles titles. If Djokovic wins Wimbledon, he will have claimed 12 major trophies after turning 30.

By comparison, Rafael Nadal (8), Federer (4), Roy Emerson (2) and Pete Sampras (1) have combined to lift 15 major singles titles after turning 30.
