Nettie Slater
Nettie Slater, widow of Erwin Slater, formerly of Hollywood Hills and Murietta Hot Springs, Calif., has passed away after living five and a half years in Aspen with her son Larry Slater and his wife, Maria-Emilia. Nettie is also survived by her daughter Felicia Solomon, her husband, Robert, of Los Angeles, and her daughter Carole Slater, of Reno, Nev.Nettie was the loving grandmother of Shannon Colburt, Lisa Thorn, Caren Clawson, Jay Friedman and Michael Slater and great-grandmother of Griffith, Jacoby and Bennett Clawson, and Eliza and Calvin Friedman.She will be loved and missed forever.Nettie was laid to rest Oct. 17 at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. In lieu of tributes, donations to the Roaring Fork Hospice or Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
Snowmass looks to create community among workforce housing developments
As the Snowmass Village Town Council moves forward with finalizing a land purchase for a housing development at the Snowmass Center, it is looking at how that development could fit into the Draw Site housing project to create an opportunity for a larger workforce housing community.
