Admittedly, works by Kees van Bohemen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Red Painting in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 50,400.00.

Die Arbeit Els von Kees van Bohemen kam im April 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kees van Bohemen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Red Painting im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.400,00.
