To say Debra Messing had some apartment issues prior to filming the new 13-episode reboot of Will & Grace is an understatement. The actress, who plays interior designer Grace Adler on the show, which currently airs every Thursday on NBC, tells AD: "Back in New York, there was a fire next to my apartment. And I had to find temporary housing, furnish it in a week, and then come out to Los Angeles and find a place to live. Currently, my apartment that I had gutted and redecorated top to bottom three years ago is going to have to be completely restored. So I have been looking at many, many design Instagram accounts for inspiration, but I also find inspiration in other sources. I'm certainly going to need help when I get back to New York!"

If you're an interior designer who is hoping to get a shot at decorating Messing's pad, you'll have some big shoes to fill. The actress, who purchased the full-floor apartment in a 1920s building on the Upper East Side in 2014, says she has "had the privilege of working with some very, very talented" interior designers in the past. But the big question is: Would she hire Grace Adler for the job?

"Hell, yes!" she tells AD. "She's confident, she's responsible, she has a strong point of view, she listens to clients. And she's a ball to be around."
