Founded in 1506 under the Gran Capitan patronage. It was finished in the 18th century but the original project was not carried out. Although it mixes several styles, it's one of the peaks of the Spanish Baroque architecture.

Its façade was built in 1974 in the Herrerian style by J. Hermoso. The rooms are arranged around a cloister:

- the refectory (where there is a painting of the Last Supper by Brother Juan Sánchez Cotán), and twelve paintings representing scenes of everyday life in the order.

- The De Profundis room, Gothic, with an altarpiece of a painting of Saint Peter and Saint Paul by Sánchez Cotán.

- Chapter house of Frailes.

Next to the church, there are some chapels; the sculpture of the Rosario Virgin by José Risueño is in one of them. You get to the church (Baroque style nave), with pictures by Sánchez Cotán. There is a beautiful marquetry door, made in 1750.

The sacristy is in the Baroque style, was started in 1727 and finished in 1746 by Luis de Arévalo and carver Luis Caballo. It is divided into 4 sections by marble pilasters. Altarpiece with an interesting image of Saint Bruno.
