So I want a little treat to get my kid into the car. No matter how much fun he is having wherever, looking forward to a piece of candy softens the horror/trauma. Things with wrappers have some obvious downsides; chocolate-related stuff melts, and even gummies become one massive molten chunk of gummi. Hard candies will stick together, and I don't want him to choke to death while I drive. Rips are the perfect solution. I suppose I could give him 1/2 or 1/4 of a twizzler or something, but Rips are just right as-is. He often asks for another, but I just remind him he only gets one, and no quibbling about dosages,
