NEPETA F. `CAT`S MEOW` This first class selection keeps its tiny, dense, rounded shape all season long. Small, grey-green, aromantic leaves are topped with well-branched stems carrying spikes of sky blue flowers. Ideal for border, mass planting, containers or edging. Bright blue flowers attracts butterflies. To encourage more flowers prune back to half its size after initial bloom. 'Cat's Meow' is a durable plant that perform well in average soils in full sun.

Very impressed with the condition of this live plant. The packaging kept it perfect. I have ordered many plants in the past from other companies that didn't survive the shipping process but this company made sure that didn't happen. It died even though I took the same care of it as my other plants. Had my front and backyard relandscaped with new brick patios and sidewalks, new sod, and all new plants. I had some casualties and this was one of them. I may try again in the Spring because I like the color of the flowers.

I took a chance and ordered this plant. It arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. I have planted it in my yard and it is thriving. We have deer that love to dine in my yard so I am hoping that this "deer resistant" plant with be a winner. So far, it's doing well and getting ready to bloom.

I can understand why people would be hesitant to purchase live plants online because you can't look at them prior to purchase or know how they will arrive. Since this was an AMAZON purchase and not another vendor I was a little more ready to purchase, as if the product arrived defective or damaged I could possibly get a replacement. The Catmint plant actually arrived earlier than expected and packed in a big box to protect it. Good thing I was home to get it off the porch after UPS delivered it and my husband helped unpack it immediately. It looked okay (Catmint are pretty hardy little plants anyway). The soil was kind of dry so I gave it a little water, but the leaves were green. It will stay on my front porch in a protected area to acclimate for awhile prior to planting it. Should you decide to order just make sure to watch arrival dates and be around when your plant is delivered to unpack it immediately to assess it and take care of it. I would also order it in early spring after frost dates or early fall prior to frost dates in your area. I am satisfied with my purchase.
