From late spring well into fall, masses of lavender-blue blooms (each 1/2- to 1-inch across) arise in big clusters on tough, vigorous plants. Branching from the base, these 6- to 12-inch plants become incredibly dense, for even more flowers all season long.
  • Unlike some Garden Pinks, 'Siberian Blues' Dianthus won't melt out in the heat and humidity of summer. The rounded plants stay neat and compact, their blue-green foliage offering great contrast to the vibrant blue flowers. The perfect companion to pink Dianthus.
  • 'Siberian Blues' Dianthus blooms the first year from seed and is very long-lived. Sow seed in early summer for bloom the following spring. Best performance in sun and well-drained, gritty soil.

These seeds are the best pelleted seeds ever! I simply dropped each seed on top of my moistened starter mix in individual cups. I did not cover them at all with any soil, just GENTLY sprayed them with a tiny bit of water and topped the cups with saran wrap to hold in the moisture. After just 5 days they were all beginning to germinate & everyone of them (10) popped up! They are now continuing to grow wonderfully in my garden & looking forward to seeing flowers as beautiful as the ones pictured! I would definitely recommend these seeds!

AD stated the envelope held 50 seeds. Was I ever surprised when I counted only 28. This was my 3rd pack. The first two only had 40 seeds , but most grew nicely. This last one , I'm still waiting for one seed to grow. It doesn't look promising. After 2 months, I got nothing. My luck with this product is miserable. I bought 3 packs which were to be 150 seeds, First pack had 39, 2nd pack 33 and the 3rd pack 28. out of this I got 9 plants from the first 2 packs and none from the last one. I do not recommend wasting your money on this product. None had the 50 seeds as advertised. But most important out of of the 90 seeds, only got 9 plants.
