Moist skin!
LOVE this serum/ampoule! It does what it promises and delivers deep hydration with no irritation. I tend to have skin on the more sensitive end of the spectrum, and have been using retinol and retinal products (hot tip: retinal is less irritating and more effective. You’re welcome) so I do need to be sure to provide a lot of moisture to my skin. Many serums contain hyaluronic acid, which is a great ingredient, but you MUST also moisturize your skin after that, otherwise your skin actually ends up drier. This ampoule does not contain hyaluronic acid, and truth be told, I couldn’t see what the full ingredient list was when I ordered it- but I did have a positive track record with Korean brands before, so I was trusting that this would work for me. I have uploaded a picture of the ingredients so you can see what is in it. It is magic! Deeply hydrating, leaving me with nice, moist skin. I actually did not need to top my skin off with additional moisturizer after this, but if you are having. Dry dry weather or have extremely dry skin, you may want to. For me, this is a game changing product to have for summer AND winter hydration. It’s light enough to use on its own in the summer, and I can follow it up with extra moisturizer in the winter. The smell is OK- not anything beautiful, but it also goes away almost as quickly as you put it on your skin. I’d rather have a meh smelling formula that dissipates quickly than a gorgeous smelling formula loaded with “perfume” or “scent”, which are generally key words for “random chemicals” and “irritating”. The cap on this is excellent for traveling as well. Easy to remove for application, easy to put back on for traveling and portability. The formula itself is clear and watery, and when you first pump it out, it seems highly unlikely that the texture of it could be so highly moisturizing, but I promise you, it is! If you have sensitive skin, dry skin, or have been using retinoids, you simply must add this into your skincare arsenal. The price point is also very affordable. I strongly recommend you give it a try. The only caveat I can offer is that I am not super prone to breakouts, so I have no idea if this is non comedogenic or not? It does contain castor seed oil- I don’t know if that is a pore clogger or not.

Stong Scent That Smells like Patchouli :(

This is going to be difficult for me to review because I had to wash it off my face before I even fully rubbed it in. I'm not sure why the description (and some reviews) state that the scent is "subtle" because it sure wasn't to me, and I'm not overly sensitive to smells. One scent that I do avoid is Patchouli as I know it's one that I strongly dislike. I know that's very subjective and that many others do like it but if you're like me, I would avoid this product. Even though it's not listed in any of the ingredients, this really smells like Patchouli. If you're okay with that, it might be worth ordering.
