I would not pay fifty bucks for this game. I borrowed my friend's copy and I gave it back to him the next day. The first reviewer "hangin1" was right about all the teams feeling the same. Not much work done on distinguishing the good players from the not so good. Also, Hangin1's review is full of flaws. Winning Eleven is a Mircosoft title which is coming to the Xbox 360, NOT the PS3. and playing at wal-mart once doesn't mean you've experienced the Xbox 360. The 360 does support 1080i. I own a 360 and will admit that the graphics aren't much better than the original XBOX without an HDTV. I have an LCD Flat Panel HDTV at my apartment and my parents still have a regular Stereo TV at the house. Let's just say I don't leave my apartment much anymore...

I purchased this game from a local store, and was AMAZED by how much they have upgraded their old game, FIFA 05, to such an amazing graphical interface. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes the sport of soccer.

This is my favorite soccer game on the psp but i still do not care for it that much. It is hard just like all of the other ones but not as hard. The graphics r good becides when u score a goal and it has a close up of whoever scored it. It has more teams than the older ones and the game play is allot better. The fouls get called allot eaiser on this one too so that is a problem for me. After u tell the person how hard to kick it it takes them ever to kick it so the other team ends up getting it. It is harder to dribble around people on this one but when u do u usually score a goal allot eaiser. This game is good but i like the ones on other systems better.

FIFA 06 on PSP has terrible graphics, particularly players are too small. The main game review sites ign.com and gamespot.com have not even mentioned this fact. ign.com and gamespot.com also don't tell us how FIFA's gameplay so inferior to World Tour Soccer. I don't feel I'm playing as Real Madrid or Brazil or any prominent player. All the players and teams are 95-99% carbon-copy of each other. What's the point having all those licensed teams if those teams and players, in a reasonable degree, don't play like and feel like different from one another?

I bought FIFA 06 on PSP from amazon.com, and returned it for a partial refund. Instead, I bought World Tour Soccer, and it has considerably better graphics and gameplay. I also pre-ordered Pro Evolution Soccer 5 on PSP from [...] I'm expecting PES5 is the best soccer game on PSP. Before I tried FIFA 06, I was also considering to get Xbox 360 to play FIFA since I'm a huge soccer fan and I had high hopes about "improved" version of FIFA from EA. But, seeing FIFA 06's almost unplayable AI/gameplay on PSP, I will not even consider FIFA on the new consoles. I will rather wait for Playstation 3 and play Winning Eleven.

So far, Eurogamer by far has been the most objective and in-depth internet site for soccer game reviews: [...] Also, [...] has the most objective news and analysis instead of fueling the hype when it comes to new consoles and games.

Finally, a few words on next-gen consoles...Having tried Xbox 360 myself at a Wal-Mart, I can tell you that Xbox 360 games are not much different in terms of graphics and original gameplay. The only thing impressed me about Xbox 360 is high-definition. I think that HD will influence people to buy next-gen consoles more than the games graphics for the time being..Especially, people like me will believe once they see it with their own eyes. For HD, PS3 is the way to go since PS3 supports 1080p unlike Xbox 360, and it has Blu-ray player unlike Xbox 360.

All those game-focused internet sites are ignoring the fact that people are inclined to extend their traditional entertainment style, watching a movie rather passively, and ready for just a little bit more interaction, or playing a sports game because they love watching football and so on. HD could be adopted by consumers easier than some other untested entertainment concepts and too much game-focused strategy, and HD could enhance the entertainment experience of masses more effective than other offerings even if it costs $100-200 more than other competitors. In that sense, PS3 looks promising.

This is a fantastic game if you want a quick footie fix. The graphics are great for a hand held. The stadiums, crowd noise, and crowd response to events are very realistic. I only wish there was a deeper manager mode like the full versions. You can play a season as any team in any league but you cannot make transfers during the season. Also there are no cup competitions being played during your season. You can play for any cup but as a separate game. Other than that this is a must have for any serious footie fan. There is nothing like squeezing in a quick match between meetings at the office.

If you've played any of the FIFA games of the past, this one keeps up with the rest. The game play is basically the same and graphics are impressive given that the PSP is not as powerful a system as some others.

One thing to note, the juggling aspect is pretty cool. Gives you a break from dominating your season. When you are juggling, the screen actually turns upright. Not a bad thought on FIFA's part.
