Product Description

Product Description

Engage in a life or death struggle against rampaging dinosaurs in a futuristic setting.

From the Manufacturer

Dino Crisis 3 begins with the discovery of the gigantic spaceship "Ozymandius" that has suddenly re-emerged after disappearing for 300 years and is now headed towards earth. You assume the role of Patrick or Sonya, members of an intergalactic marine group called SOAR (Special Operations And Reconnaissance), who are sent by the government to investigate and procure any possible survivors aboard the outpost. As Patrick and the agents infiltrate the spaceship, they come upon a horrific scene of ravenous dinosaurs inhabiting the spaceship. Now it's a life and death struggle against massive beasts as they float through the dark recesses of space. Despite this unnerving situation, they must cautiously proceed with their mission to find out the mysteries of the colony ship and stop it from returning to Earth.

Equipped with hyper-speed booster units, you will explore and maneuver quickly throughout the massive polygonal environments to collect objects, solve puzzles, and achieve you objectives. This new type of control is a break from anything done before in the Dino Crisis series. It offers new challenges and more freedom of movement. Experience being fully armed with futuristic artillery including WASPs, drones that lock-on to an enemy and automatically begin a deadly barrage of fire, to ward off the ravenous dinosaurs.

Features:

  • All new futuristic sci-fi storyline
  • New breed of dinosaurs with advanced enemy Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Full 3D polygonal environments to explore
  • The use of hyper booster units for fast action game play and exploration
  • Three methods of attack: WASP attacks, futuristic firearms, and simultaneously fight multiple enemies using both WASPs and guns
  • Ship formation change--change the formation of the colossal ship, connect passages, and explore new areas

this game was the First Xbox game i Bought back around 2003 or 2004 i didn't even know about it tell the day i went to Buy my Xbox i have played all 3 of the Dino Crisis games and this had to be by far the Hardest of the first 2 games and there are 2 outfits to unlock 1 for Patrick and 1 for Sonya 1st one u unlock is for Sonya if i remember right its after u beat it on Normal or hard its a Red Dress and then after u beat it again on a harder setting i think you unlock the outfit for Patrick but i cannot remember what the outfit was i could not beat the 2nd or 3rd part in the beginning of the game with the new outfit for Patrick for it is the hardest setting to play on when u use his new outfit u have no Weapons to use at your own free will there is a Random gun box that has all the Weapons that you would Normally get though the game but only last for so long then u have to get it again its somewhere in each room. yeah the game was a Pain in the butt to play at first but after playing it for Hours i got used to the way of the Annoying Camera view but never the less to me it was a lot of fun even tho i died a lot but no game is Perfect and yeah i sucked at it i don't Know how many People tried to get through the game like i did i got stuck in a part that was Simple that i took about a month to Figure out i think most people would give up but i didn't and once i got past that part it was a lot of fun maybe not for some of whoever has played this game it has been Many years Sense the last time i played this i hope anyone who gets this game can Enjoy it as much as i did when i had it and i will once again when it gets to my house. all i can say for me its a great game to get annoyed from playing at first but give it a go for a few Hours get used to how it Plays and once u get better at it u just Might enjoy it a bit more then the First time you played it just like i did

Really good game, even holds up today. It takes some getting used to since it has a fixed camera half the time, which the other games of this type have since gotten rid of, But not too bad. Very reminiscent of the older games in this genre. It may not have the best critic reviews but I don't care. I love sci fi and I think this does a good job of blending the Dino crisis franchise in that category. The biggest complaint I have is that the English audio is out of sync with the mouths, which is in every Japanese video game ever so who cares. Even modern games like FF XV have the same issue, so It's not a big thing at all.

To put it simple: this is five star action/horror game that is drastically degraded by the worst camera system I have ever seen in my life. The camera systems should never be the most challenging part in a game. lol. I died more times from the silly camera than anything else. If you believe you can get over the flawed camera system in the game, this game is for you. I highly suggest watching some videos on youtube of gameplay so you get an idea what the camera system is like. I seriously almost stopped playing the game due to the frustration, but I'm a pretty hardcore gamer. So I sucked it up and fought my way to the end. In conclusion, if you are easily frustrated by terrible camera systems this game is not for you, but if you love for action/horror, space, or dinosaurs is greater than your hatred for bad camera systems this game is for you.

At the time of release, this game's graphics were some of the best. I really enjoyed the futuristic sci-fi setting. The game takes place in a giant spacecraft. One of the interesting things about the spacecraft is that it has the ability to transform. You have to change (transform) the layout of the spaceship, moving whole sections of certain areas to other locations. The ship does the actual transformations itself, you just need to initiate the process through computer stations. I really loved the boss fights as well. The game's soundtrack matches the setting of the game perfectly. The only thing I hated about the game is the camera. In some parts of the game, the camera will not look where you want it to. There is a lot of times where you need to jump to certain locations and heights but the camera will point somewhere else automatically. It's very frustrating because sometimes you will fall to the ground from high heights and have to jump and climb all over again. Other than those very few times of the camera working against you, this game is perfect. I wish this game would've been better received by the majority of people that played it because there most likely would've been sequels. There hasn't been many major (close to none, actually) dinosaur games since this game released around 15 years ago, unfortunately. Regardless, I purchased an original Xbox recently just to play this game again. I can't remember what I did with my copy of this game and original Xbox. All I know is that I don't have them anymore. I probably sold them, which if true, I regret immensely. In closing, this game is still one of my favorites of all time, even now.

I know this is Xbox rather than Xbox 360 game

But I still bought it because I thought it is a great game so Microsoft would offer the update version so I can play in my Xbox 360, you know that right? Lots of games can be player in 360 even if they are just Xbox

I was wrong...

first off we know Capcom has been able to make great games. like resident evil 1,2,3,4,5 and operation raccon city. so i knew i would love this one. and i did. what makes this game so amazing??? well ill tell you. the graphics are absoulutly AMAZING even the gameplay graphics witch are slightly less quality. the gameplay is great and easy to get used to. the controls are fitting and mostly fun and easy to get used to. The bosses are the best part and they look AMAZING espesially the final boss with two heads. the sound is fun but my only complaint is that sometimes the monsters roar is kind of silent. and finaly the camera angles. personaly i dont think they are that bad at all you just sorta have to work with what you have. overall its my faverote game defenatly worth a buy.
