The second game in the Brothers in Arms franchise and it does not disappoint. This game pick up where Road to Hill 30 ends and takes you through a new campaign with a new squad. Those who loved Hill 30 will be relieved that the controls for the game are exactly the same. Oh and a feature that I personally love is that there are also 2 bonus mini campaigns. One has you play as an American paratrooper platoon destroying anti aircraft guns and other things. My personal favorite is the German campaign in which you lead your elite German trooper through the French country side protecting vital gun placements and holding off an assault on a German HQ, its just you and your squad of about five guys against a couple hundred American paratroopers. All in all this is a great game. This game works ONLY on the original XBOX and NOT on XBOX 360.

Overall, this is a great game. Your guys usually do what you ask them to do and they're not idiots about it. The enemies are pretty good as well. They're aggressive, they move when you get to close, and you can actually catch them off guard sometimes, unlike other games where you get your head blown off from a mile away the second you peak around a corner. It's probably the most intense game I've played. They're so much going on at once, it really does feel like a war. Ok, now for the problems.

As others mentioned, the sound is delayed at times and the whole game play is glitchy now and then. You'd think they'd design within the capabilities of the system, but no. The other huge issue I have is the fact that you can't hit the broad side of a barn half the time. I'm a good shot, but in this game, I can fire round after round after round and not it anything. Unfortunately, the enemies are a better shot. The automatic guns are almost worthless. I just fire them to suppress the enemy and then switch to a single shot rifle when I want to kill.

I think the thing that pisses me off the most is that the enemies heads are bullet proof when they're kneeling behind something and their head is shooting. I've shot them in the head countless times with a sniper rifle and other guns. Doesn't work. What a stupid glitch. But hey, they're free to shoot me in the face when I'm behind something. I hate the double standards in this game. They can shoot really good and you can't; they can shoot you when you're face is showing when you're kneeling down and they can't.

That said, I love this game and it's one of my favorite. I'm ordering the other one in a few minutes.

The many reviewers who wrote negative things about the "technical side" of this game are all right. It does have some "serious" technical problems that involves game play, which I won't go into because it's already been said by many other reviewers. But, if you and your squad stay alive long enough, you will find that the game actually is pretty fun. It's not a hard game at all, but it is a game that requires a lot of patience, methodical thinking, and even more of that "patience stuff" that Yoda teaches all the jedi to have. To everyone who played and finished this game (like I did).... good job.

This game is ok for the older XBOX in that it is similar to the XBOX 360 version but the game system is choppy due to the graphics and action it is trying to handle. As such, it continually pauses while playing which is very very annoying. Overall, it is in line with the newer version but if you really want to play this game, stick with the XBOX 360 version.

I wasn't able to play this version as it was for the Xbox and my Xbox 360 wouldn't accept it. Having said that, I was really looking forward to it as I had played previous episodes on PC and they were really good.
