Twisted Metal Meets Zombies

Twisted Metal Meets Zombies
If you are a fan of the Twisted Metal games, and you're a fan of zombies you will probably like this game.It is not just a ripoff of the Twisted Metal series, but is a pretty awesome game. Will most likely give small kids nightmares so I wouldn't recommend it, but being the rating is M for mature it is not intended for little kids but people at least 17 years old(or 18 in some countries).I have not played it online, but I have played it offline a lot. Definitely worth playing if your old enough, and like violent games.

I was a little scared before I got this game because if you look on videogames websites, Blood drive gets scores like 6/10 or 53% and quite frankly I have no idea why such bad ratings. The graphics could be part of it I guess, I mean we could excpect more out of a 2010 xbox 360 game but seriously once you start playing it all goes away.
What is Blood drive? Well it is NOT a racing game and is more like a destruction derby game. You do however "race" sometimes but the races take place in a circle shaped arena and well you are encouraged to take out any competition with saw blades, rockets, mines,...
The game has tournaments based on a few events like destroying all zombies or get the most checkpoints(thats the racing one) or last man standing or rampage(kill zombies and drivers to get points).
The game, like said in previews reviews is exactly like twisted metal with zombies and sadly the graphics also are exactly like twisted metal.
An other problem of the game is that you can't play 1-4 or even 2 players in splitscreen, you can online but if you want a game for when your friends come over, forget about it. It is why I would love to see people actually buy the game so it would have more online competition.
Honestly dont be afraid of the controls like the review before warns you. There is an handbrake and quite honestly the controls are really easy to master!
So if you want some fun killing zombies and other crazy drivers, get the game and join the blood drive community!

In conclusion:
You might want to consider buying this game if you like: Death race(the movie), Full auto(xbox 360), Destruction derby, Flatout(the game), Zombies(in movies, videogames,...), twisted metal(the game)

You might not like it if you are looking for: A purist racing game(gran turismo, colin mc,...), a game for young kids(there's blood,...), a racing game where racing is all you do(no vehicule damages, no weapons,...), a multiplayer to play in splitscreen with your buddies.., the most beautiful(graphics) game ever.

I hope I helped you make up your mind :)

It's a cool game for a game newb like me. I liked it because it was very easy to control & learn to play. It was just what I wanted which was a shooting vehicle game like the Sony ps3 game by the name: ( Twisted Metal ) & I don't have a ps3 & I only have a Xbox 360 slim, so this was the closest that I could get to this game. Anyway it is a fun game especially for a game newb. Loved it!

I saw a lot of poor reviews on this game. The car physics remind me of Twisted Metal 2, it is a bit hard at first, but again this kind of game is not Forza or Gran Turismo nor is it trying to be.

The bad reviews are way to harsh. Really, this is a fun game. It has that dark feel I got when I played the first Twisted Metal which was my favorite in the series. Add a modern "reality tv" twist and lots of zombies to run down and you have BLOOD DRIVE.

The music is nice, the graphics while not stellar are still very good. the variety of cars and in mission upgrades are very good. I dont see what there is to complain about?

I bet there is a cult following to this game, more people should know about it. it is a fun game to drop in and play for an hour with enough extras and unlockables to keep you busy for days.

You wont regret it, give BLOOD DRIVE a go.

A very boring game.

I love twisted metal and burnout as well as zombies, so this seemed like it would be the perfect meshing of the things that I like. Not so.
Don't get me wrong, for the price, I definitely got my money's worth of fun out of it. It's got some cool cars, easy to pickup and play but the actual campaign is very unforgiving. I've beaten some of the harder games to date without too much trouble, but this one is not for casual gamers. The collision dynamics are a bit clunky and the AI will all of a sudden stop fighting each other and turn on you till you die once, then, it's back to a free for all.
Overall, I gave it a 3 out of 5 bc the graphics aren't bad, the music is so-so, the usual rock and such, and the cars seem to have a bit of variety.
If you are looking for a cheap, under the radar game that will entertain you for a while, and challenge you, go for it.

I actually do not like boring racing games, but that's not what this game is at all. It's a smash-mouth zombie kill-fest in up-armored vehicles! If you liked Twisted Metal, you'll love this game!
