This game is very much good so far. It has neat sounds and graphics.It even has a soundtrack feature where you can listen to your favorite tracks from each mission. There are 30 missions and some contain serious situation, even some you will not expect. Multiplayer is twice the fun. There is a limit of 4 players and your mission is to shot down everyone as many times as possible in a certain limited amount of time.You can unlock/purchase planes,special weapons,or parts using rewards from completing missions. There are 40 planes,each containing 3 special weapons and 65 tuning parts. Over all this is the bes game I've ever had, besides Ace combat Assult Horizon. I RELLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO ANY ACE COMBATANTS OUT THERE! GOD BLESS ALL!

This title Fits well with myself who owns the very first four titles of the ace combat franchise. Apart from the kinda weak voice acting, everything reminds me of bits from ace combat 2 through 4 in the choice of story, aircraft selections, creation of non existing aircraft, and flight model and gameplay. Unlike the ps3 title assault horizon, which has this awesomely cinematic but gameplay-ruining dog fight mode which irks me like mad, and also ridiculously long repetitive missions that are almost unbearable to finish. So props to the last good ace combat! also, psp platform is good fit for controls Actually. I can hardly put this game down. Almost have beaten it i think. Lots of fun missions.

Controls are quite difficult. Even if you reassign the buttons to your own liking it is still hard to play. After every mission i would need a good 10 minutes to stretch my hand. And the final mission required several breaks. This game can cause carpal tunnel.

Other than that the story is great.

It shows a high class jet on the cover but In the game you start out with an F-4 Phatom and you never advance in the game. It is hard to win even in the easy mode. Instructions are not very good in how to play and win your session to move on.

This is a great entry in the Ace Combat series. The only thing that hampers it is the lack of another two shoulder buttons. The rudder is tied to left and right on the D-Pad, which is hard to manipulate if you’re also using the joystick below it.

The game is fairly long and the campaign has a number of branching paths that alter the way missions play out. It has some replayability because even after completing all the missions, there are still many planes to unlock.

A solid purchase.
