The Westmont Hilltop High School volleyball team had their annual "pink game" against the Bedford Bisons.

This special event encourages everyone to make contributions that benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation in the hopes of finding a cure for breast cancer.

Attendees were asked to donate by buying ducks for the duck toss, purchasing baked goods and buying basket raffle tickets.

Some players even honored their family members who have battled breast cancer by giving them flower bouquets before the start of the game.

“I think it’s just wonderful," said Carole Pastorek, a breast cancer survivor. "My granddaughter was one of the organizers of this and a lot of her good friends. It’s a wonderful thing and the money all goes to our area for those battling cancer so that is a plus.”

For more information on how you can donate towards finding the cure for breast cancer visit the Susan G. Komen website.
