Biopic about the life of legendary dutch jewish cinematycoon Abraham Tuschinki who fled in 1905 from the stjetl in Poland to become the greatest tycoon of his era in the Netherlands. He only believed in the best for his audiences and managed to build the most beautiful filmtheatres. The Second World War however turned everything upside down and Tuschinski failed to escape the naziterror. Together with his wife he was send to Auschwitz in Poland where they perished.
His magnificent Tuschinki Filmpalace remained though.
During the Kalamata Documentary Film Festival DOP Kester Dixon film won the Prize for Best Cinematography for his outstanding work in this 75 minutes documentary.
