Just read a reply by staff to another reviewer I too have stayed there There are no kettles available as they do not allow them in the room so that is untrue Secondly the brown cover over the one sheet is a horrid cheap uncomfortable material My sheet was also changed once And concerning the rooftop restaurant yes it is open till 10 but after that it is getting cleaned so hence tables and chairs getting moved Again 6 am staff getting tables ready my partner and i also had disturbed sleep for a week Cleaning staff really friendly Pity the other staff are not especially the smallish man with glasses that works on reception at weekends very rude and miserable This is not a 4 star hotel More like a 2 or 3

No tea making facilities nor water to drink if you want any tea coffee ,water you have to go down to the bar area on the bottom floor and pay for them We where there for 1 week the bed was changed once not a superior room id say basic , Room nice and clean Had a so called superior room On 3 rd floor underneath roof top restaurant chairs and tables getting moved till nearly 12 at night then again at 6 in the morning Hardly got any sleep Beds comfy but beginning of week weather was really cold They only supply 1 sheet And a coverover that was like cardboard Theres no way this is a 4 star hotel more like a 2 star

Wonderful experience at this very clean and well appointed hotel. We were warmly welcomed by Danielle who impressed us with his hospitality, friendly service and knowledge of the area. The room was very clean, comfy bed and nice, large bathroom. We enjoyed a pretty view of the sea on our balcony. Breakfast and dinner in the rooftop restaurant was excellent. The views from there are absolutely beautiful. Try to catch a sunset. Easy walk to all the sites and shops. All of the hotel team we encountered were very nice. Highly recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised having read some of the reviews. The hotel is better than it looks. In April it is relatively quiet. It is a short walk to the old town and some very nice, reasonably priced restaurants. The hotel rooms are clean and reasonable. We could have done with more and better toiletries. It it was cleaned to a high standard and our room had a good view of the old town and the sea. The beds were comfortable, though only one pillow each was a bit stingy. Breakfast was ok. The coffee was good, as were the pastries. There was a selection of fruit and omelettes were freshly prepared for those who wanted them. The restaurant area on the roof provides stunning views, particularly at sunset. Dinner was reasonably priced by uk standards and was pleasant with good service though choice was quite limited. It seems popular with local families. The bar area indoors is limited but the bar staff are lovely, as was every member of hotel staff we met. The pool area is clean and welcoming after a day of sightseeing. We stayed 3 nights, any longer and I think the room would have been a bit basic but for the time we were there it was pleasant.

We arrived in the dark at 22.30 and we were welcomed on the steps and our cases brought in. There was a table set for us and we had with a superb cold meal. Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and it was wonderful to wake up the next morning and see the sea from the bed. The next great moment was going to breakfast in the rooftop restaurant and seeing Cefalu and the beach! The choice of food was excellent - cold buffet, freshly cooked eggs and bacon by the chef, a great selection of cakes and pastries and variety of coffees. You could not wish for more. Going out the front door is the sea and private beach area for the hotel. Very peaceful as no large vehicles are allowed. The walk into the Cefalu town is a pleasant ten minute stroll along the side of the sea. The town is itself is amazing with delightful old buildings and tiny streets, so many to explore. Street food is good and ice cream choices are incredible, even gluten and lacto free. We had dinner each night in the hotel and every night the meal was excellent with a good choice of food and again in the rooftop restaurant - all the tables are set out spaciously. Every member of staff was very pleasant and helpful and friendly. The pool area was lovely to sit in and snacks and drinks readily available there. We had an excellent holiday and have already booked to go the Sea Palace again this year! Thank you everyone! We travelled withJet2 for the first time and had excellent service from booking to very helpful staff at the airport. We only want to travel with them now!

Great position on promenade with short walk into Cefalu. Fantastic sunsets viewed from rooftop restaurant with high quality food which is real Italian with Mediterranean twist. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast has plenty of choice including hot food cooked by a comical chef. Well appointed rooms mainly with walk in shower, good sized balcony with limited views. I recently had the most horrendous experience at this hotel, and I must warn you to stay far away from this place. It claims to be a 4 or 5-star establishment, but let me tell you, it was nothing short of a nightmare. Let's start with the parking situation. Our car was locked inside the hotel garage, and we were trapped because other vehicles were parked recklessly all over the place. We couldn't even move our rental car without damaging it. The front desk staff had zero control over assigning parking spots to occupied rooms, which is not only a huge safety issue but also a complete joke for a supposedly prestigious hotel. Anyone could have entered the garage and wreaked havoc. As a result, my girlfriend and I missed our early morning flight and had to pay extra for the rental car and book a new flight to Rome. When we approached the hotel management, their solutions were absolutely absurd. They wanted me to hand over my car keys to a staff member so that he could miraculously get us out without causing any damage. Yeah, right! As if I would trust them with my rental car. Their second suggestion was even worse – they tried to ram another customer's luxury vehicle (a Range Rover, no less) to create space for me to leave. Are you kidding me? This hotel management was perfectly fine with destroying someone else's property just to solve their parking mess. And if that wasn't enough, their third solution was for me to get a ride with a hotel employee while they returned the rental car. Seriously, how am I supposed to trust a hotel staff with my vehicle when they can't even manage their own parking lot and have no qualms about damaging customers' luxury cars? It was an absolute nightmare. Now let's talk about the actual room we paid a whopping 500 euros for – a luxury suite, or so they claimed. The air conditioning didn't work, and their solution was to give us a puny portable unit that barely cooled the room. The sound system was completely non-functional, and we were given just one measly blanket. The in-room jacuzzi was a disaster as well. It had tape on it to mark what was hot or cold, as if it was a home renovation project gone wrong. The poor thing barely even functioned properly. And to top it all off, a disgusting stench was emanating from the bathroom. When I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty, she showed no interest in even viewing the room. It was as if she knew exactly what she was in for but decided to sell it to us anyway. I should have realized something was off when the front desk management mentioned they usually charge 650 euros for the room but gave it to me for 500 euros. Probably because they knew it was a disaster waiting to happen. In total, we ended up spending an additional 576 euros just to get to Rome due to the incompetence of the hotel staff and management. They offered nothing to make up for their mistakes, except for ******* solutions that made me question the staff's level of intelligence. When I aske

Absolutely loved this hotel. Staff couldn’t do enough to help, breakfast was delicious with large range of food available. Pool was really quiet. Just across road to a lovely beach and a short stroll into the main part of beautiful Cefalu!

Great hotel! Staff friendly and helpful when needed. All areas very clean. Pool area lovely. Privat beach definitely an added bonus and literally just a stones throw away. Room was great. WiFi was superb all around the hotel and the grounds. Breakfast was great - so much choice - hot and cold! One negative - no ironing facilties in the room - plenty of cupboard space just to pop a small board an iron in. Would definitely come back and will recommend.
