"Hello, friends!"
Portrayed by: Lance Robertson

A male DJ who is the series' host and a friend of the Gabba Gang.

The Gabba Gang

     As a whole
  • A Day in the Limelight: Each of them has got an episode or few that completely focuses on one of them:
    • Muno: "Teeth", "Differences", "Family", "Adventure"
    • Foofa: "Pets"
    • Brobee: "Birthday", "Talent", "Big"
    • Toodee: "Doctor", "Nature"
    • Plex: "Robot"
  • Beauty, Brains, and Brawn: Foofa and Brobee (beauty), Plex (brains), Muno and Toodee (brawn).
  • Color-Coded Characters: Red for Muno, pink for Foofa, green for Brobee, blue for Toodee, and yellow for Plex.
  • Costume Evolution: Their costumes have been updated over the course of the show, most notably Brobee's.
    • One noticeable difference from their Season 1 costumes is when they were sleeping, special felt was put over their eyes to make them appear closed to the viewer.
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble: A group of five, though they still fit in to each of the categories:
    • Sanguine: Toodee
    • Choleric: Muno and Brobee
    • Melancholic: Plex
    • Phlegmatic: Foofa
  • Lilliputians: They are all these, hence being lifelike toys.
  • Nice Guy: All of them, even when they make mistakes.
  • Nice Mean And In Between:
    • Muno and Foofa (nice),
    • Toodee (mean),
    • Plex and Brobee (in-between)
  • The Noseless: Muno, Brobee and Plex.
  • Parental Abandonment: Aside from Muno, none of their parents are revealed.
  • Perpetual Smiler: Because of the way their costumes are designed, their default expression is "happy" and use such no matter what their emotion is. Only Brobee averts this.
  • Transformation Sequence: The theme song shows them transforming from their inanimate toy forms into the "real" Gabbas this way. One by one, DJ Lance places them in their respective realms and shouts their names, causing them to transform.
  • True Companions: All of them love and respect each other.
  • Vague Age: They all appear to be very young, around a preschool to early elementary school age (though Plex is a bit older). Only Brobee has a definite age revealed so far (3 in Season 1, 4 as of "Birthday").
    • Both Toodee and Muno lost their front teeth in "Teeth", making them around 6-7 years of age since your front teeth fall out at 6-7 years old. Foofa may be this age too, when she said she lost her baby teeth in said episode.
  • You Don't Look Like You: Subverted with their 2D flash-animated selves that appear whenever they are thinking. Played straight when these were vastly redesigned in the 2010s, which closely match how they appear in live action.

     Muno

"Yo, right!"
Voiced by: Adam Deibert

A male red cyclops; the tallest of the Gabbas.

  • Character Catchphrase: "Razzle dazzle!"
  • Character Tic: He often strokes his chin when thinking.
  • Cute Little Fangs: He has rounded ones. His baby teeth were sharp like Toodee's.
  • Cyclops: A tall creature with one eye.
  • Easily Forgiven: Normally whenever he causes an accident, his friends forgive him. The one time he messed up Foofa's picture though, she wasn't all that forgiving at first.
  • Expy: He is based on the Aquabats villain Cyclopsis.
  • Friend to Bugs: He loves all types of bugs.
  • Gentle Giant: He is the biggest of the Gabbas, yet the clumsiest.
  • Keet: Enthusiastic and clumsy.
  • Larynx Dissonance: Has a high-pitched squeaky falsetto voice.
  • Nerd Glasses: He briefly wears them throughout "Differences".
  • Ooh, Me Accent's Slipping: Often, his voice sounds less falsetto when he's singing. This also occurred a lot during Season 1, almost slipping into his voice actor's actual voice.
  • Punny Name: Named for the fact his realm resembles the moon, and he only has one eye ("uno" being Spanish for "one").
  • Red Is Heroic: He is red and one of the good guys.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Red to Brobee's blue, being humorous and often messing things up.
  • Shifting Sand Land: He lives in a purple desert-like realm that resembles the moon. Played fully straight with his own house, which is in a vast desert far from Gabba Land.
  • Sudden Anatomy: Has three stomachs.

     Foofa

"Oh, hehehehehe!"
Voiced by: Emma Jacobs-Briggs

A female pink flower bubble who loves flowers and anything feminine.

  • Balloon Belly: Has a big, round tummy shaped like a bubble.
  • Break the Cutie: Her biggest one yet happened in "Art" when Muno accidentally ruined her picture for the art show, causing her to go full-on rage.
  • Cheery Pink: The theme song describes her as "pink and happy".
  • The Conscience: In addition to DJ Lance and Plex, she often plays this role once in a while.
  • Flowers of Femininity: She has a white flower on top of her head and her realm is full of flowers, and she is also girly.
  • Gonk: Subverted; she's the most feminine member, but her tummy is huge. This is most noticeable in Season 2, where she seems to have put on lots of weight. As of Season 3 however, she appears to have lost some weight.
    • Played straight with her costume from the unaired pilot, which is quite obese for a female monster like her.
  • Green Hill Zone: Lives in a yellow and green spring meadow realm.
  • Pink Girl, Blue Boy: While she is pink, her brother Foofle is blue.
  • Pink Means Feminine: Of course!
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Blue to Toodee's red, being calm and relaxed most of the time.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: Girly girl to Toodee's tomboy.
  • Vocal Evolution: Her voice got lower and more smooth sounding after the first season. This is especially noticeable from the third onward.

     Brobee

"Oh, whoaaaaa!"
Voiced by: Amos "Mossi" Watene

A male, fuzzy, little green monster and the youngest of the Gabbas.

  • Attack of the 50-Foot Brobee: In "Big", when he is accidentally beamed to life-size by Plex.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: He’s the youngest of the Gabbas at 4 years old (3 before "Birthday").
  • Balloonacy: This often occurs when he is given a huge bunch of balloons or whenever he holds the string of his friend Balloony.
  • Big Ol' Unibrow: Type 2.
  • Break the Cutie: Often suffers this since he's the one who usually gets upset.
  • Character Catchphrase:
    • "All right!"
    • "There's a party in my tummy!"
  • Character Tic:
    • Tends to wrap his arms around his mouth when upset or frightened.
    • Also whenever he eats his food, he pretends the food is having a "party" in his tummy, and we get to see what it looks like.
  • Expy: He is based on the Aquabats villain Weedy the Broccoli Bee.
  • "Flowers for Algernon" Syndrome: In "Big", he wishes to be bigger because he hates being small, and his wish comes true when he is accidentally beamed away by Plex. However, he instantly begins to dislike his wish since he is too big now and can no longer play with his friends.
  • Gratuitous Spanish: In "Greetings", at one point he says "Hola", which is Spanish for "Hello". This could hint he's bilingual.
  • The Heart: The sweetest (and the cutest) of the bunch.
  • Height Angst: In "Big", he expresses concern and anxiety that he is the smallest of all Gabbas and wishes to be big like them. This is averted at the near end of the episode where he learns to accept his height, regardless.
  • I Just Want to Be Special: Throughout "Big", he is upset at being the smallest one and wishes he were bigger. When Plex accidentally beams him to life-size, he gets his wish, but it's not what he expected.
  • Leitmotif:
    • A sad, groaning trombone fanfare whenever he's sad or dejected.
    • A rising "whoooooop" followed by a "ding", accompanied by a starburst effect when he instantly smiles onscreen. The one time when he frowned upon receiving a sandwich in "Boat", this was reversed.
  • Mood-Swinger: At least compared to the others, who are almost always in a good mood, Brobee is the one who most often gets upset. Often when he's frowning and something good happens, he immediately smiles accompanied by the above Leitmotif.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: He is the only Gabba whose expression changes to match the situation.
  • Punny Name: Acts like the "little brother" of the gang. He also resembles a stalk of broccoli, and has stripes on his body like a bee.
  • Redhead In Green: Inverted, he is green with red horns.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Blue to Muno's red, being humorous and cheerful but also very sensitive.
  • Tareme Eyes: His eyes are uneven slanted ovals that meet up with each other, referring to his innocence.
  • Vocal Evolution: He gained a much higher-pitched voice that's less raspy and more goofy-sounding as of Season 2.

     Toodee

"Yeah, whoo!"
Voiced by: Erin Pearce

A female blue cat-dragon who likes to have fun.

     Plex
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2090.JPG
"Whoooaaa!"
Voiced by: Christian Jacobs

A male magic yellow robot and the oldest of the Gabbas.

  • Character Catchphrase:
    • "Hooray!"
    • "Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!"
    • "Ohhhhhh...heyyyyy everybody!!! It's Dancey Dance Time! Now, let's see who our Dancey Dance friend is today!"
  • The Conscience: He serves as one alongside DJ Lance.
  • Cool Uncle: To his baby niece, Plexee.
  • Do-Anything Robot: Befitting his status as a magic robot, he can do anything, from play music from his speakers, beam people into Gabba Land, and store anything in his belly.
  • Extendable Arms: Has his "super long arms", which can stretch out to really long lengths.
  • Hammerspace: Has a small door on his belly that can hold anything, even big or long things.
  • "I Am" Song: "The Robot Song", from "Robot". See the below quote.
  • Magitek: A magic robot, indeed.
  • Magnetic Plot Device: Has an alarm that goes off whenever it's time for the Dancey Dance of the day.
  • No Indoor Voice: His voice is quite loud and draws out often, like a sports announcer.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Blue to DJ Lance's red, since both are leaders, but he is much more serious given that he's a robot.
  • Robot Buddy: "I am your robot friend, I'm here to help you!"
  • Saying Sound Effects Out Loud: When he came down with the hiccups in the FBB/YGG crossover, he repeatedly says the word "hiccup" rather than giving a natural hiccup.
  • Shrink Ray:
    • His laser can "beam" guests into Gabba Land, making them toy-sized. Using it on them again returns them to their original size.
    • Used more literally in "Bugs" when he made his friends bug-sized so they can meet the oskie bugs.
  • Super-Strength: He can lift heavy things.
  • Tareme Eyes: Has oval shaped eyes that lean towards each other, which represent his leader behavior. Shares these with Brobee.
  • Teleportation: Doubles with Shrink Ray when he beams guests in and out of Gabba Land. A more literal example would have to be in "Ride" when he transports to the top of the skate ramp.
  • Verbal Tic: Though he usually speaks with a normal human attitude, he tends to slip into a robotic tone of voice on occasion (example: announcing "Fun Game Time" in "Move" and commenting on the oskie bugs in "Friends").
  • Vocal Evolution: As the show progressed, his voice became higher pitched and a bit strained.

     Others

Gooble

A tall ghost creature who is always depressed.
  • The Eeyore: He's always sad and is always crying. Toodee gets angry at him for this in the episode "Love."
Toodee: Gooble! Go cry somewhere else!
Plex: Toodee, you should be nice to Gooble, he is sad!
    Toodee: But he always cries!
Plex: Gooble îs sad most of the time, but we should still be nice to him. We should be nice to everyone!
  • Expy: He is based on the Aquabats villain Obakemon.
  • Perpetual Frowner: His default facial expression is a frown.
  • Reused Character Design: His design is actually based off of Muno.
  • When He Smiles: It's very rare for him to smile, but when he does, it's pretty wholesome.

Super Martian Robot Girl

A girl superhero would often shows up at the end of the episode if there's no "Storytime" segment (aside from her only appearance Season 3. In each segment, someone would either cause trouble or need help and the super heroine would show up to help out to solve the problem.
  • Put on a Bus: Super Martian Robot Girl was a major character in the first season, but quickly dropped by the next. She would later come back in Season 3 episode "Superhero", but that was it.
  • Riddle for the Ages: Because of her name, it's never stated what she is exactly.

Moochie and Pooty

A pair of fuzzy monsters that would often race each other. They sometimes show up as the "Storytime" segment during the first season.
  • Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: Moochie wears a pink star on her head and Pooty wears a purple tie.
  • The Big Race: Their sketches are the two of the racing each other.
  • Cartoon Creature: It's never stated what creatures they are. They resemble bears, but lack noses.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: They're designed to be more like Japanese compare to the rest of the show.
  • Put on a Bus: Moochie and Pooty appeared a few times in the first season, but quickly dropped by the next and unlike Super Martian Robot Girl, they never returned.
