Found from southern Mexico to Honduras. A species reaching 12 to 24in with green leaves bearing a light scurf and moderate spines in a full rosette; will flush red in cooler weather. Like many terrestrials, this species will grow larger in a large pot or in the ground. In full sun this species takes on a somewhat peach to reddish coloration. The inflorescence, typical of the genus, is a many branched spike with clusters of tiny white flowers. This is a new clone we grew from seed that Dennis collected in 2008 on a trip to Honduras.
