Aphrodisiac Coral tree (Erythrina americana)
Coral tree or as it is scientifically known Erythrina americana, is native to America and is a strong inebriant, poison and magical agent. The Huastec of Mexico use the leaves of the coral tree to treat insomnia and anxiety. In some cultures women consume the bark as a contraceptive.
In Mexican folk medicine, a weak tea is made of the flowers to treat chest pain, while the stem juice is applied to scorpion stings, and a tea of the bark is taken as a diuretic and purgative. In Veracruz, leaves of the coral tree are used to treat ulcers, skin abscesses, and insect stings, and fruit extracts are used to sooth skin inflammation.
The seeds of the coral tree is ingested by women and it is said after eating they become sexually aroused. In Mexico women who were looking for a one time lover wear a necklace from the seeds to caputure a lover. The beans contain cytisine, a psychodelicaly active but toxic chemical

Although the seeds are eaten in some cultures for sexual arousal, the seeds are considered to be poisonous so care must be taken when ingesting the seeds or any part of this plant.
