The Flowering Pomegranate, elegant and very ornamental due to its incredible red flowers that combine perfectly with its brilliant foliage. Ideal if you are looking to grow a striking and different specimen that will capture all the attention!
Tree between 3-4m. Bright green lanceolate deciduous leaves that turn yellowish in autumn. Large, double scarlet-red bloom, wrinkled with abundant petals. This variety does not produce fruit.
Prefers deep, loose, well-drained soils.
Dig a hole that is at least twice as wide and deep as the root ball of the plant. Break up and remove the soil effectively: this will facilitate rooting. Take the plant out of the container and carefully cut the roots that may have been broken, slightly loosening the root ball. Mix the soil removed with substrate and fill part of the hole with this mixture. Place the plant in the hole, cover it with the rest of the mixture and compact the soil around the root ball, carefully stepping on it. Water abundantly.
