More snowdrops at Altamont!
Despite the fact that my last post was about my visit to Altamont Gardens two days ago, here is another. But this one is based on my visit today. A little milky sunshine was forecast so I decided a second visit was needed. Apart from wanting to see the snowdrops in slightly better weather it is always best to see them when the temperatures are above 5c because there is a chance the flowers will be partly open so you can see the distinctive markings of the inner petals.
So, with apologies for anyone really bored with white flowers already, here are some more snowdrops. And tomorrow there will be some more – the more unusual types in detail.
Lots more snowdrops tomorrow
i would never get bored with those lovely pics . thank you and look forward to tomorrows
Very nice images, I like the flower, they do look like snowdrops!
