Local Gardens to Visit

One of our favourite local gardens is The Dorothy Clive Garden – with interest all year and the amazing display of rhododendrons and azaleas in the Quarry Garden in spring it is a must visit.

Also close to home are Trentham Gardens and somewhat further up the road we now have RHS Bridgewater Gardens

We are on the borders of Cheshire and Shropshire, not far from Derbyshire, and close to the West Midlands so we have a multitude of gardens within a 50 mile radius. You can find some of them listed on the Great British Gardens website – search by county, browse via the map or check for special collections.

Several National Trust gardens are also nearby.

Many towns and villages now hold Open Gardens weekends and you can find them on the Open Gardens website. Staffordshire has its own page here where you can find out more about Barlaston and Eccleshall among others.
