I love this game but its only really fun for the first two hours, there isn't enough to the game mechanics to make it fun for more than that, sure they introduce more environment option in the second half of the game but also more enemies and bad enemy mechanics that combo poorly with other enemies, for example fighting the captain at the same time as a duelist is a nightmare, the captain on attacks with un-blockable attacks while the duelist does 1-3 attacks where each one of them can vary, but where the problem comes in is the duelist has a different poise bar then most enemies where if he hits you or you don't parry his attack when you can then his poise bar resets to full, so if you are fighting both at the same time you are forced to spam dodge to get away from the captain while losing any progress on the duelist. Both enemies kinda suck to fight by themselves as they do multiple attacks which shoots them forwards several feet which makes it even more painful to fight both of them at once.
Further more the devs literally reuse bosses in the first two acts you fight a few bosses one of them "el vigilante" and the other "Zaidia" in the next act they literally throw these bosses back at you back to back for seemingly no reason other than to give you a boss fight the only difference in these fights are the environments and on one of the bosses they gave them that special poise bar that resets if you make a mistake.
Overall I suggest you get this game while on sale or on a key distribution website like "instant gaming" where they buy keys from the dev in bulk for a cheaper price then resell said keys to consumers, i bought this game for $8.50 at instant gaming and for that it was worth the first two hours of enjoyable game play I had however for the previously mentioned reasons I don't really have a desire to continue playing, and I'm not very optimistic about the later acts.

i just found the combat rather dull and uninteresting. nothing especially grabbed my attention.
