TEXAS — Grammy-nominated rapper Busta Rhymes is returning to the stage and making some stops in Texas.

The BLOCKBUSTA Tour, named affectionately after the rapper’s latest project, is set to travel across North America in 2024, stopping in Dallas, Houston and Austin.

The March tour dates are:

Dallas

  • March 24 at South Side Ballroom

Austin

  • March 26 at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater

Houston

  • March 28 at 713 Music Hall

Tickets will go on sale starting Tuesday for presale, with the general sale beginning Friday on the tour’s sponsor’s site.

Busta Rhymes debuted in 1986 when his rap group, Leaders of the New School, became an opening act for the legendary rap group Public Enemy.

The rapper quickly became known for his high-energy performances and unique rap style, appearing on dozens of mainstream songs throughout the '90s.

A few years later, the Brooklyn native released his debut solo album, "The Coming," in 1995. The rapper went on to be nominated for a Grammy 12 times throughout his career.
