Siberian Wallflower (Cheiranthus allionii) is an eye-catching heirloom wildflower known for its outstanding cold hardiness, thriving in damp, cool weather commonly found in coastal regions or higher altitudes. This attribute is presumably the reason behind its name "Siberian" despite being a US Native Wildflower. The common name "Wallflower" comes from the plant's affinity for growing in nooks and crannies of walls or cliffs. Featuring early-blooming, vibrant orange flowers, this tall-growing biennial creates a stunning display in any wildflower meadow or garden, attracting pollinators with its brilliant color and early-season spring blooms. Enjoy the beauty and ecological benefits of this showy and resilient wildflower in your landscape.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS (Included on packet):
For fall sowing, no stratification needed. For spring planting, a 30 day cold stratification is needed to break the seeds' dormancy. Direct sow Siberian Wallflower seeds in well-draining soil on the soil surface. Space seeds 12-18 inches apart in rows 2 feet apart. Plant in full sun or partial shade for best results. Keep the soil consistently moist until seedlings are established.
