Synonym: Stichorkis condylobulbon
Distribution: Taiwan, Indo-China to W Pacific
Habitat: Top of low, mossy tree branches in humid forests; 330-5250ft (100-1600m)
Life form: Epiphytic
Bloom characteristics: Arching inflorescence is 4-10" (10-25 cm) long with 50 densely packed, almost translucent pale green flowers with an orange lip. Flowers are .12-.25" (2-6 mm) across.
Medicinal/pharmaceutical: In Sulawesi, hot leaves were rubbed on the abdomen and small pseudobulbs chewed for constipation.
Bloom Time (northern hemisphere): November to December
Description: This small to medium sized orchid takes its species name from the shape of its pseudobulb.
