I recently stayed at Mar Hotels in Peguera for a week with my family. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the beautiful Tora beach, and we never had trouble finding a free sun lounger by the beach or pool. The staff, especially Veronika at the reception, were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The food in the buffet was varied and enjoyable, with a wide selection for everyone's taste. The animation team and other staff members were kind and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Stayed in this hotel in 2010 also and the food has disimproved considerably since then. Apparently the hotel has changed ownership. The food was really disappointing and the staff appear to be under a lot of pressure compared with the previous year.

The animation team was fantastic with kids and very friendly, making us feel welcome from the start. The room was large and had a wonderful view of the sea from our balcony. , the all-inclusive package provided great value for money and the food was faultless.

Our apartment was a bit dated and the trek to the back was quite tiresome at times. , the indoor pool was part of the spa and children were not allowed during certain times, which was not made clear on the website.

The room at Mar Hotels Paguera & Spa was cozy and comfortable, with a 120 cm single bed that provided a good night's sleep. As a budget traveler, I found the satellite TV, private bathroom with bathtub, and large wardrobe to be perfect for my needs. The extra table with chair, safe, magnifying mirror, and hairdryer were convenient amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable. I appreciated the complimentary WiFi and mini fridge, which added to the convenience of my stay. The 5 sqm equipped terrace was a lovely touch, providing a spot where I could relax and soak up some sun.

While the magnifying mirror was a nice feature, I personally didn't find much use for it.

During our stay, we found the hotel to be in a great location, just a short walk away from a beautiful beach. Paguera is the perfect base for hiking enthusiasts, offering a wide range of trails and excursions. We loved exploring the beautiful surroundings and enjoying the stunning views. The hotel's location near the sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, and shady pine groves made it an ideal holiday destination. Plus, there were plenty of boutiques, bars, and restaurants to explore, ensuring we had a memorable and enjoyable stay.

For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly activities for children.
